Tapping into new player demographic
Sportingbet Plc has gone live with Wikibetting's Facebook app in a new partnership that saw the veteran sportsbetting firm assist Wikibetting during beta testing to further develop their products.
Users can bet on a peer-to-peer level using pseudo currency by challenging friends within Facebook based on different football events, apply the odds, and propose the wagered amount.
Sportingbet's social foray is intended to tap into a new demographic of players, convert them into real players while educating on the sports betting process in a risk-free environment.
