Bests tough final table to earn a US$ 1,800,000 pay check
32-Year-old Irish poker pro Steve O'Dwyer took the 2014 ACOP 'Macau Billionaire Poker' Super High Roller title at the PokerStars LIVE Macau.
O'Dwyer topped a 52-player field that built a US$6.2 million prize pool, overcoming a stacked final table to ultimately defeat Ryan Fee heads-up.
This is O'Dwyer's ninth career tournament title. He took the 2013 PokerStars EPT Grand Final title for Euro 1,224,000, naming the tournament win at the time as the highlight of his career.
The Irishman walked away with a HK$ 14,050,000 (US$1,811,828) pay check.
