Northstar Reaches Settlement With Illinois Lottery

Dispute settlement agreed
GTECH S.p.A. and Scientific Games consortium Northstar Lottery Group LLC has entered into an early termination settlement regarding its private management agreement (PMA) with the Illinois Department of Lottery.
The PMA which went into effect on January 18, 2011 (see previous InfoPowa reports), is now expected to terminate in approximately 12 months.
As part of the termination agreement, the Lottery and Northstar have agreed to cease a dispute resolution process regarding adjustments to Net Income Levels in the PMA and all outstanding litigation and other disputes.
The agreement doesn't affect GTECH's other contracts with the Lottery.
