Rational Group Sues Erick Lindgren

For $2.53 million in loans and an erroneous payment

Rational FT Enterprises Limited (Rational), represented by Craig Denney of Snell & Wilmer law firm, filed suit in a Nevada District Court late last week against former sponsored Full Tilt poker pro Erick Lindgren.

Rational claims Lindgren owes the company a staggering amount of $2 million that had been erroneously deposited into his account in 2011 along with another $531 807 in loans.

According to case 2:2015cv00179, Rational had sent Lindgren a check for $2 million in error after it had paid him $2 million the week before.

Following the fall out of Black Friday in 2011, Full Tilt Poker gave the rights to the debt to PokerStars who again attempted collection in 2012, however soon after Lindgren, who was suffering from a gambling addiction, filed for bankruptcy.

Rational is pursuing collection of the debt saying the amount was not discharged by the bankruptcy court at the time, reports Court House News.
