But will still exist and operate under a different model

Sky Betting and Gaming has reviewed its Sky Poker TV, channel 861, following its acquisition by private equity firm CVC Capital Partners from Sky late last year, saying the change in ownership affects how the channel can be run both commercially and legally.
According to a customer update, Sky Poker TV's 24/7 channel 861 on Sky will cease to operate both on TV and via the live streams via the website and the mobile app, the last live show running Thursday, .
Going forward a live show will still take place, every Tuesday on Sky Sports.
The company will implement a new format focused on pre-recorded TV content that will include more cash games, UKPC coverage, interviews, features and strategy videos.
This new content format will likely be shown on Sky Sports, Challenge TV, SkyPoker.com, Youtube & other social media sites, the company informed.
