The Gibraltar-based online lottery platform provider Lottonetix has launched what it claims is an innovative development for the lottery business – live-streamed lottery action with live presenters, the project motivated by the success of live dealer casino action in recent years.
The company has developed the concept in collaboration with online lottery B2B solutions provider Kootac, a Malta-based enterprise with ten years in the lottery business, four of them in the online sector.
The launch includes a range of live lottery games, hosted by real-life dealers via Lottonetix's online lottery platform
The company is hoping to tap into a greater share of the online lottery business, estimated by La Fleur's World Lottery Almanac back in 2012 to be worth around $250 million a year. The partnership also envisages a lively white label business with interested operators, including clients like Lotto Booking, Lotto Dealer, Play Euro Lotto, Lottobird and Gigalotto.
Players buy their tickets remotely and watch the draw take place live every few minutes; there are two live lottery draw products in the offering, Lucky 7 and Lucky 5.
In addition, the platform offers related live games like Wheel of Fortune, Bet on Poker, Dice and Baccarat. These games are designed to provide variety and keep online players engaged for longer periods.
