Hired hackers and DDoS aaasults feature in website attacks

Without releasing specific details of the companies involved, South Korean police have revealed that two local computer experts have been arrested on charges of originating cyber-attacks on an illegal gambling website at the paid behest of a competitor.
The police claim that one of the experts was paid the equivalent of almost a million dollars to launch Distributed Denial of Service attacks on the internet gambling website.
Investigations continue as police assemble more evidence against the two defendants.
