New Senior Appointments At Online Poker Group

Pokerstars and Full Tilt parent names new marketing and operational chiefs
Pokerstars and Full Tilt parent Rational Group, itself a subsidiary of the Amaya Gaming group, has announced the appointment of new marketing and operational executives.
Israel Rosenthal has been appointed chief operations officer for the Isle of Man-based company, replacing Rafi Ashkenazi, who is taking on new responsibilities at Amaya.
Rosenthal is a Rational Group veteran with considerable experience in a number of operational management posts.
The role of chief marketing officer has been taken up by Gino Appiotti, who replaces Alex Payne. Payne has departed the company for a new marketing career with EBay Europe.
Appiotti was previously head of Rational's activities in southern Europe, a senior management post he held for three years, and one that saw him leading the shift of the Pokerstars offering from poker-only to the wider online gambling arena.
