Unlikely to reach the 100,000 minimum required at this rate

The Poker Players Alliance "We the People" petition to the White House, calling on the US president to oppose the Restoration of America's Wire Act as an attack on states' rights and internet freedom, is unlikely to reach the minimum requirement of 100,000 signatures within thirty days at the rate it is growing at present.
Launched by PPA vice president Rich Muny 10 days ago (see previous InfoPowa report), by this weekend the petition had attracted only 3,796 signatories despite wide publicity on internet gambling media sites, which would suggest a worrying level of player apathy.
