Partypoker Grand Prix Million Won

But it's an expensive business for Dusk Til Dawn

Rob Yong's Dusk Til Dawn took a $275,000 hit when his one million dollar guarantee on the PartyPoker Grand Prix Million prize pool was not met by the buy-ins earlier this week, but at least one British poker player was a happy winner in the competition.
Antonius Samuel, a Nottingham-based civil engineer and amateur player, claimed a first prize worth $100,000 after besting a field of 7,248 other hopefuls at Dusk Til Dawn in his home town.
On the final day Samuel faced off in the heads up against fellow Brit Stacy Coore after Tasos Grigoriou was eliminated in third place for $45,000.
It was a brief affair once Samuel grabbed the lead, quickly leveraging it into a solid (and his biggest yet) win despite a game effort by the talented Coore, who had to be content with the runner up prize of $65,000.
Another player who came in for special mention was Lee Connett, who entered a penny satellite which won him a seat in the Grand Prix Million and ultimately a 17th placing worth $5,500.
Final table pay-outs looked like this:
Antonius Samuel — $100,000
Stacy Coore — $65,000
Tasos Grigoriou — $45,000
Nadeem Ali — $35,000
Vlad Alexandru Lazariciu — $26,350
Daniel Harwood — $19,000
Kuljinder Sidhu — $13,500
Patrick Sunter — $10,000
Bartosz Przewiezlikowski — $8,000
Was Yong deterred by the loss his company incurred on the Grand Prix Million guarantee overlay? Apparently not; the publication PokerNews notes that Yong is up for another million guarantee at the end of the year, although details of this have yet to be publicised.
