Letter of intent between two bodies expresses wish to collaborate

The Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission and the Netherlands Gaming Authority have signed a Letter of Intent expressing a mutual wish to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding once online gambling has been legalised under the Gaming and Betting Act in The Netherlands.
Spokesmen for the two bodies said the LOI is a precursor to a Memorandum of Understanding and will establish a formal basis for cooperation and information sharing between the Isle of Man and the Netherlands gambling authorities.
The agreement has the principles of protection of consumers and preservation of public order at its centre and the common objective of improving regulatory standards in respect of these principles through the exchange of knowledge, provision of assistance and establishment of a good working relationship.
