Betclic reportedly fined Euro 150 000 for accepting play from Belgian players

Belgian news portal RTL Info reports that 79 Betclic.com online players have been sanctioned by the Belgian Gambling Commission (BGC) for playing through the unlicensed website, and there's apparently "dozens more to follow".
The Commission has allegedly imposed a fine of Euro 200 on each online player, a lucky break considering the BGC's sanctions can top Euro 150000.
President of the BGC, Ettienne Marique commenting on the action said: "There will be more significant convictions on those who have played more money, or depending on the players' occupation. Among them, there is a police officer, for example."
According to the report another 180 records are currently being processed.
Betclic.com for its part has reportedly been fined Euro 150 000.
