CEO Geoff Freeman to argue the land casino position on new IRS proposals

A hearing on proposals by the US Internal Revenue Service regarding the introduction of player management and tracking systems for mandatory tax reporting, along with new winning reportage thresholds (see previous InfoPowa reports) will hear testimony from the chief executive of the American Gaming Association, Geoff Freeman, Wednesday.
The Association represents the interests of American land gambling groups, who are generally opposed to a suggestion by the IRS that the threshold for automatic reporting on player wins over $1,200 be reduced to just $600.
