G.v.c. May Take Another Crack At Acquiring Bwin.party

But it will require a major round of fund raising

The British media reported Monday that GVC, thwarted in its attempt with Amaya Gaming to acquire Bwin.Party Digital Entertainment (see previous InfoPowa reports) is mulling a solo re-offer despite the apparent preference by Bwin for the 888 Holdings bid.
But going it alone without Amaya's cash will entail a major fund raising drive, which GVC is reportedly exploring with institutional investors, according to a Reuters report.
Online casino and poker firm 888 has announced that a deal worth GBP 898 million has been reached with Bwin.Party, lower than a rival GBP 908 million-pound bid from GVC and its Canadian partner Amaya Inc.
