Gauselmann Appoint Merkur Managing Director

Jens Halle's friend and colleague takes on the role
Gauselmann Group has named Charles Hiten as managing director for its Merkur Gaming business following the tragic passing of Jens Halle at the end of May 2015 (see previous InfoPowa report).
Hiten will oversee and drive sales activities for the Gauselmann Group's North, Central and South American business'. He will focus on continuing Halle's strategy by further consolidating and expanding sales activities in America.
"With Charles Hiten, we have gained a former colleague and close friend of Jens Halle for this important key position on the American continent. He is an acknowledged expert in the industry and will enrich Merkur Gaming with his wealth of knowledge and experience", said Jürgen Stühmeyer, sales director for the Gauselmann Group.
Hiten has spent over 15 years in the International gaming industry, most recently heading up Novomatic AG's investment strategy for the Chilean market.
