Draftkings In Long Term Partnership With Staples Center In Los Angeles

Expansive "first of its kind" fantasy sports bar and lounge to launch in September 2015

The Los Angeles-situated and AEG-owned and operated STAPLES Center, home to four professional American sports franchises, has signed a three-year marketing deal with daily fantasy sports provider DraftKings Inc.
Under the terms of the partnership, aside from being named STAPLES Center's exclusive Daily Fantasy Sports Partner, a new, first of its kind, 4,400 sq. ft. DraftKings Fantasy Sports Bar & Lounge will be established on the Main Concourse of the sports and entertainment arena.
DraftKings will also receive premium exposure throughout the STAPLES Center including digital signage within the arena, concourse presence and customised digital exposure including official web-site and social media presence.
The company will also receive numerous hospitality benefits, including tickets and other premium arena amenities which will be used as incentives and rewards for DraftKings members and DraftKings Fantasy Sports Bar and Lounge guests, ticketing opportunities and the ability to do live broadcasts, press conferences and other private events in the Lounge including arena dark days.
"This partnership will not only launch what we believe will be a signature and entertaining hospitality destination for our fans but will create numerous opportunities for us to introduce and showcase the exciting and original concepts being developed by DraftKings," said Lee Zeidman, president STAPLES Center and L.A. LIVE.
In related news, DraftKings and the LA Kings announced an extension to their category-exclusive sponsorship of the AEG-owned NHL franchise, first signed in 2014.
