Search is on for a replacement for Mark Buser

Mark Buser, the director of social gaming for Pokerstars, has departed the company for reasons that are not yet clear after only a year in post.

The company has confirmed that it has launched a search for a replacement for the widely experienced Buser, who boasted a c.v. with management positions at leading companies like Idle Games – Fresh Deck Poker on Facebook, Million Levers.com, and Russian programming at United Technologies – part of his respected career in aviation technology (see previous InfoPowa reports).

Buser was hired in June 2013 with a reporting line to Rational Group chief marketing officer Alex Payne, who departed the company two months back during a restructuring of his division that saw the customer relationship manager, Morten Tonnesen, step into his shoes (see previous InfoPowa report).
