Dutch Authority Revokes Total E Soft Fine (update)

Reassessed case file

Kansspelautoriteit, the Netherlands gaming authority, has revoked a Euro 180,000 fine imposed on Total E Soft, XKL and its directors in June 2015 following an appeal lodged by the company against the decision.
The administrative fine which was imposed for the provision of online gambling without a license, was reassessed by Kansspelautoriteit's board of directors who came to the conclusion "it was sufficiently plausible that Dutch citizens could not unknowingly access illegal games of chance due to both procedures and terms and conditions provided by Total E Soft or XKL software".
