Mkodo and OpenBet to provide technology and content

The Danish state gambling enterprise Danske Spil is going mobile with its sports betting operation, aided by technology and games providers Mkodo and Openbet.

The agreement between the parties calls for the establishment of a fully functioning HTML5 app launched via the Openbet sportsbook platform under Danske Spil's Oddset branding, and will facilitate live betting on a wide range of offers and events.

Nikos Kryvossidis, OpenBet's senior vice-president of technology, said this week:

"Developing and deploying the Oddset mobile web app from scratch in just a few months shows how much can be achieved with a collaborative effort between committed and specialist partners."
