Maverick Games, the next-generation crypto sportsbook and casino that puts player safety and security first, has strengthened its senior management team with three big hires as the business continues to grow at speed.

The Isle of Man-licensed operator has welcomed Dan Kent as Director of Poker, Danny Carrington as Marketing Director and Ruairi Daly as Marketing Manager.

Dan has worked in the igaming sector for more than 12 years, holding senior roles at two of the largest online poker brands in the world. He is trusted by the poker-player community and will be responsible for ensuring Maverick Games’ poker offering not only meets but exceeds expectations.

Dan Kent, Director of Poker at Maverick Games, said: “My main objective is to bring in a steady stream of players while offering some of the most competitive rewards in the industry.”

“We want to offer a safe and fun place to come and enjoy playing online poker and, as always, I will advocate for the player by taking their feedback and implementing it into the Maverick Games experience where possible.”

“We really have put a lot of focus into our customer experience and service and want players to know they will be well looked after when playing with us.”

Danny Carrington is a marketing veteran having worked for power player operators such as Entain, Rank Group and William Hill over a stellar seven-year career. At Maverick, he has been tasked with scaling the marketing team and supporting the wider business and brand. This includes exploring new markets, driving customer acquisition and boosting retention.

Danny Carrington, Marketing Director at Maverick Games, said: “We are at the start of such an adventure with new markets, products, features and experiences on the horizon. I have been hugely impressed with the hunger and desire within the business to really change the game and how the entire team is working together to do this.”

“Maverick Games really does stand out from the crowd, and I am proud to be joining the operator as it continues to blaze its own path.”

Ruairi joins Maverick Games from a stint in North America where he has been helping drive awareness of a major brand. Prior to that, he worked for William Hill. At Maverick, he will assist Danny Carrington in scaling the marketing department and acquiring and retaining customers at scale.

Ruairi Daly, Marketing Manager at Maverick Games, said: “Being a maverick is all about doing things differently and this is certainly something that resonates with me in my personal life.”

“With the foundations already laid, the sky really is the limit when it comes to Maverick Games providing players with the safety and security they need to enjoy a fully licensed crypto gambling experience.”

Maverick Games allows players to blaze their own path and is pushing boundaries when it comes to crypto sports betting and casino. It is fully licensed by the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission and has held its licence since 2018.

Kendra Ross, Managing Director of Maverick Games, added: “I’m so excited for the next phase of the Maverick brand, including the launch of poker, securing additional licences and evolving the experience we offer to players.”

“Every decision we make is about how we can best serve our players and especially providing them with a safe place to gamble so they can focus on having fun. Bringing on Dan, Danny and Ruairi will certainly help drive us towards that goal.”

“Their wealth of experience when it comes to creating unrivalled player experiences at some of the biggest brands in the business is a huge asset for us and our customers.”
