Buenos Aires Slots launched by PlayUZU

The SkillOnNet-powered online casino PlayUZU is now live and operational in Buenos Aires City, Argentina, after receiving its license from the city’s gaming authority (LOTBA). PlayUZU has teamed up with one of the largest local land-based gambling operator, BuenosAiresSlots, as its local licensing partner.

It’s the latest phase of strategic expansion into Latam for the Spanish-language casino, which is the sister site of PlayOJO. Like PlayOJO, PlayUZU positions itself as a “fair” casino, offering money back on every spin, wins from bonuses paid in cash, and no wagering requirements.

Argentina is a federal state divided into 23 provincial jurisdictions and one autonomous city, Buenos Aires, each with the power to legislate for online gaming regulation. Buenos Aires City is one of nine jurisdictions that has launched online casinos in the country. Per regulations, each prospective licensee must partner with a local gaming operator.

The deal with BuenosAiresSlots offers casino customers a truly omni-channel experience, while delivering cross-marketing opportunities for the two operators. The local company owns three gaming halls within the densely populated suburbs of Buenos Aires and holds exclusive rights to operate slots and bingo in two of the city’s districts.
