Aspire Global reaches Agreement with Israeli Tax Authority

Aspire Global, a provider of iGaming platform solutions for iGaming operators and white labels, have reached a settlement with the Israeli tax authority, with Aspire Global agreeing to pay €13.7 million in retroactive tax, relating to the period of 2008-2018.
In an announcement published on their site on the 31st December 2019, the company states that an agreement has been reached with the Israeli tax authority covering a total of 11 fiscal years, with the agreement covering all of the group’s activity in Israel.
With Aspire Global further stating that: “This additional tax charge will be reflected as an exceptional item in the Group’s accounts for 2019 and the payment is expected to be made in the next couple of days.”
Aspire Global is headquartered in Malta, although the company does have offices in Israel as well as strong links to the country.
