Baptism by Fire - success Tropezia Palace Casino

Hi casinome,

To be honest with you, I am not sure what we did wrong. If you asked to close your account at first and then returned and asked to re-open it one month later, I am not sure why we should not allow you to re-open your account? Agents are here to help you, not to reject you.

Ok, do not lynch me over this as I am not willing to put my life on it, but as far I know there is no such thing as permanent closure in any casino (unless they are unlicensed). We have to keep the records of your account and all of your information for regulatory purposes. All casinos keep your account in the database and you are just refused to log in by the system. Also, I am not aware of any casino that refuses re-opening of a closed account. So, I am not sure what we did wrong.

We have also introduced a budget management tool in the Responsible Gaming section, so you can set your deposit limits which help you stay within your budget. I am surprised that you did not use this to set a limit. I think it is possible that you did not receive the newsletter because your account was closed.
Simply go to "My Profile" and choose "Manage my deposit limits." There you can set daily, weekly and even monthly limits. If you would like, you can also ask the support team to help you with this and they will set the limits for you.

Secondly, I have looked through my inbox and I have not received a message from you, otherwise I would have replied for sure. Let us make sure we clear that; wrongful accusations directly hurt my job (my bread and butter).

I will admit that when I check my sent items, there is nothing to you. I must have pressed the wrong button or something and thought it was sent. I am not here to accuse anyone of anything that is not true. This was my wrong and I admit it, but I did write it, just screwed up on the sending part. So I do apologize on that end.

As for reopening the account, I stand firm on that one. If someone says to close it because of a gambling problem and you allow the person to reopen it, I would say that this is a big malpractice and is preying on the weak.

If you really don't want to be able to play any more casino. You need to contact each gaming supplier and inform them that their operators should not allow you as a player. To block yourself from one casino will never help, you need to restrict yourself globally.

I registered an account as the game selection and everything looked tempting. But the site was working really really slowly. I thought that would go away and made a deposit.
But when I tried to open games, they would not open. My browser was chrome. Then I thought to try with IE but still the games wont open and site was lagging like hell.
Then I switched to firefox and everything worked like a dream o.O..

First time this has happened and I have played at a LOT flash casinos. Really wierd. But when using firefox no complains. Anyone else noticing this?

No one else has had problems with the casino working slow? Am I the only one who can use it only with Firefox. What might be the reason o.O?

Overall I think I would characterize my experience with this casino up to this point as "very friendly, but a bit disorganized."

As above, support has always been extremely friendly and very helpful.

Account verification was a bit of a hassle, I had to email the exact few same documents in a couple of times because I was asked to send a document I had already sent (already sent in twice before, actually). If someone does not have any utility bills in their name, they may have some difficulty with verification as well, but they should be able to figure something out eventually. But might be a significant hassle.

There was an issue with the bonus being removed at withdrawal, but support was aware of this when I spoke to them. The value of the bonus was re-credited to my account (as normal money) after the withdrawal was processed. I can't be entirely sure whether this is done automatically if players don't mention it, nor do I know if it has been fixed altogether since my last withdrawal.

Wagering requirements on bonuses are pretty steep at the moment. Last bonus I received was 35*(deposit+bonus) = 105*bonus. I thought elsewhere it was stated this would be changed to 20x?

Overall my experience has been fine so far, but think they've still got a few bugs to iron out.

Just wanted to comment on my experience so far...

Bonus: took the 200% sign up bonus which had the standard 35x bonus + deposit wagering requirements but with all the slots they had i felt having £300 to play with would be worthwhile.

Casino: Just looks like your typical flash type casino but with the most ridiculous amount of slots. The filter feature is a very nice touch which makes it a lot easier to find the slot you want. It would be nice to have a small preview picture of the slot when you hover over it as some other flash casinos do, that would be a nice addition. Personal faveourites of mine were: Orc Battle, Rally, DoA but put it this way you will never get bored of the selection I still had plenty even though the MG ones were unplayable (see below).

Issues: I couldn't play any of the MG slots, the lag was just horrendous to the point where i couldn't see the result of the spin before it had moved onto the next. The support were trying to be helpful but i really don't think they should expect you to switch internet browsers to fix this problem, they should fix it themselves whatever it is.

Results: Started off terribly and lost £200 as quick as you like.. decided to have a make or break sesh and played DoA at £1.80 a spin, got lucky and won a fair bit (£700). Made wagering requirements and got a good shot at a lot of the slots available, and am now in the process of withdrawing just over £500. They have requested my documents, which I am not use to since most UK casinos I normally play at I think just do an identity check with the credit agencies (could be wrong on that one) so fingers crossed this all goes ok. Will keep you posted.

Overall: Assuming withdrawal process is headache free I will certainly be back at some point, if they fixed the lag issue I would probably make it one of my regular deposits.

Hi BeardyGuts!
The bonus T&Cs are 20 times the bonus plus deposit amount, not 35 times. The T&C happened to revert back to the old version upon one of our recent releases. It will be corrected shortly!
Cheers!

Update:
I didnt have a utility bill with my name and address on it, but managed to get it sorted pretty quickly (within an hour) by supplying a different document. And just now received notification my withdrawal has been processed and should have the cash in 5-7 days. So overall has been very painless and easy process. Kudos to Tropezia and i'll definitely be back.

Thanks for clarifying it was 20 x dep + bonus, i did think i got through it pretty quickly looking back so that would make sense.

Regarding the 'Utility Bill' issue - this is going to be more and more common as many people are using online billing or the utility bills are in someone else's name. Screenshots of online utility bills are often not accepted by online casinos.

This is a general point for online casinos: they need to accept screenies of online utility bills as valid forms of ID AND they need to give players a decent alternative. But more than that: they need to put this alternative on their Know Your Player documents terms and conditions page so the whole process can be sped up. This doesn't just apply to Tropezia - it applies to every online casino.

Hi tryme!
FYI - We will accept downloaded PDFs from online bills. Each institution that gives you online billing also provides the option for downloading the bill as a PDF to your computer.
Cheers!

Just made my first withdrawal, first place where I was asked to send a picture of me holding my ID. Well, they will suffer, having to look at my ugly face, muahahaha!

Interesting to see how long will the doc approval and withdrawal take all in all.

I have a few smallish issues with this casino that have put me off playing there. The first is the minimum withdrawal amount, it seems way too high at £100! I've played at loads of casinos over the years and never seen such a high minimum.

My second issue is with the bonuses. I never play with bonuses and and £5 was added without warning on my last deposit. I requested removal of the bonus and it was gone in about 10 minutes. I had a quick look through the account settings afterwards and noticed my original deposit was still tied to the wagering requirements of the bonus. I asked an agent to check and they sorted it after about 20 minutes.

They need to implement a better system for bonuses where the player opts in or can forfeit automatic bonuses. It also worries me that the system doesn't clear the wagering requirements automatically when a bonus is removed.

Not huge problems but these small details need to be considered if they want to stand alongside some of the best casinos.

Well since they didnt flush yesterday ive been reversing and withdrawing, having amazing amount of playtime :) and ended up withdrawing more then double what i asked for to be flushed:) will ask again in the morning so lets see if i also get paid tomorrow ;)

any downside there are the Rivals games they seem to run way to slow, all others providers run great.

Well looks like you dont flush on weekends?

Good morning The Viking!
as you have found out, we do not flush on weekends. For this we need to have our Payments staff and they work regular business hours.
Glad to hear you had a good weekend with us - remember those lucky socks for later :)
Cheers!

Hi akrus88,

Nice win!!

Side note: I am sure that you will see more and more casinos asking for the picture with holding your ID, the security is increasing everywhere.

Cheers!

Yes, I think that is right. It is not much trouble to take a one picture after all.

@ Viking Was it your first withdrawal?
I had pretty much the same experience as you. I played on Saturday, sent in documents, asked for my withdrawal to be flushed (can not be flushed before docs are in).
Withdrew, cancelled, withdrew, cancelled. Withdrew yesterday evening (my account was verified completely yesterday). Asked couple hours ago the withdraw to be flushed (could not be done on the first withdrawal ).
But the live chat was really friendly and said the withdrawal will be (probably ) approved today. Also mentioned it takes up to 24h to hit my skrill account, I can not understand why they always say it may take 24 hours to hit my skrill account after they have sent the money. Same thing in every casino. As in my understanding casino to skrill transactions are instant.

No my 2nd one, the first one took 48 hours there about.
Also once the withdrawal is comfirmed it takes about a 1-2 hours to hit an ewallet, perhaps they say 24 hours to be on the safe side:cool:

I ques that is true. But for my understanding after the withdrawal is confirmed (sent) from the casino, it should be instantly on your account.
As in some casinos, skrill withdrawals comes to your account in less then a minute.

But yeh, went again asking about my withdrawal. Now I was informed it will be at my account latest tomorrow. Really annoying. Ques I am a bit impatient, but over 3 days for a web-wallet withdraw is too much.

Really strange..

E-wallet payouts work instant so why it takes more than 1 minute:confused:

When payment has aproved, it should be in your wallet immediately.
