Baptism by Fire - success Tropezia Palace Casino

Ok, so i got bored yesterday and decided to give it a go and dont care about my visa fees. What can i say, deposited 50, took the 200% Bonus and was down to 20 at one point. But now after the WR is done my balance ist at 3500 €

That was my best run ever!

Talked to Livechat and just sent my documents. Nice and helpful! If all goes well with my withdraw i will definitely come back! I will make an update when my money arrives!

Congrats mate! I hope you got some screenies to share!

Docs checked yesterday and just received my withdrawal confirmation.

Live Chat told me flushing is possible on my next withdrawals, thats a big +.

So im very happy with Tropezia and will now look out for a new Creditcard with no gambling fees. Tropezia is now on my casino list.

@tinybettor: Thanks Buddy, will upload a screenie of my biggest win now in the "best Wild Desire wins" Thread :D

Im waiting for a WD myself and i have a very nice oldschool screenshot. They said it would be processed today. Support so far has been awesome, and Luckysox aswell.

Will give an update once processed!

Update: So my withdrawal is now processed and i pleased to say that on my second deposit of around 93€ i managed a cashout of 5700€! Just in time for X-mas.

Had query which the support (and Luckysox) handled with ease =), Even received a callback to let me know that the thing was fixed =)

Highly recommended!

Now i will go post that oldschool screenshot of mine in the winners sceenie section!

Made my first withdrawals and after 48 hours they were processed and reached my bank account the same day.
Thank you Tropeziapalace and CS. And special thanks to Fredric from CS for an excellent service:thumbsup:

Hi stefdo, Happy Holidays!

really sorry about the delay, we actually had a technical issue with neteller itself. I looked at your account and I see that the withdrawal went through this morning - yay!

Wanted to say I joined last week. Support was nice and helpful, and the bonus claim went smoothly.

Sugar Pop was not as much fun as I'd hoped. I found the game play slow (not lag, just the way the game plays), although I got up a few bucks and held pretty even for a bit.

Really large game selection.

Was playing in fun mode last night, had chat pop up to speak with me ask if I needed any help. No pressure to deposit, just a welcome to a new player, so that was fine.

They do actually have a pretty good Xmas calendar offering, and I'd forgotten about the freespins the day after my deposit. They were still there waiting in real for me, they didn't expire which I think was great!

I'll be returning to play for real again soon.

A little something in my stocking left me some funds to play with for xmas.

So I paid a visit to Tropezia, and was helped by the professional and courteous Torill. My request for a copy of my chat transcript was met immediately. It was sent as an attachment, and there were nice season's greetings that felt personal, even if the team used a script.

I've made one deposit and busted out as I have mentioned. I have got a couple of emails, nothing excessive with bonus offers. But I went to chat to ask what was available to me instead of pouring through a ton of emails.

Torill was fast to answer, and fast the check my account. I was offered a 100% deposit match, but playthrough is 35X D+B, cashable, which is rather high I think when the WR has to be met entirely. I haven't deposited yet, still making up my mind.

I asked about getting my docs in for verification ahead of time, to get that out of the way.

I made my first deposit with Skrill. It is standard for them to ask Moneybookers (sic) customers for a photo of themselves holding their ID for security purposes.

I don't actually have an issue with this personally, I just can't comply today. Torill was helpful enough to suggest using a mirrow even.

I don't mind a photo, but I know some players really hate it
Jasminebed - 12/24/13 6:30 PM:
and so they should be ready to be asked if that's standard for you guys
Torill - 12/24/13 6:30 PM:
The photo with is for our customers that deposit with Moneybookers
Jasminebed - 12/24/13 6:30 PM:
A lot of times it's for suspected fraud, so players can find it very offensive
Jasminebed - 12/24/13 6:31 PM:
but if it's standard not so insulting
Torill - 12/24/13 6:31 PM:
It is just a standard security measure yes :)
Jasminebed - 12/24/13 6:31 PM:
is it just for Skrill customers? I like to be accurate
Torill - 12/24/13 6:31 PM:
Yes, it is

Even though I chose not to deposit today, I will return.

I thought the other CM members would like to know this will be asked of them if they use Skrill, and it's nothing personal or some delay tactic. I don't even have a withdrawal to delay!

While they don't have today's deposit, quick and courteous support that's not on some hardsell will see me back to play given their game selection.

My account is in USD, but they sent me my cashout in Euros for some reason.

Very strange since I'm pretty sure I received USD on previous withdrawals, lost about $25 on exchange fees. No point talking to support to give them a chance to make it right at the moment since I'm traveling right now.

Everything else still going fine, pending period is a bit long at 48 hours but can be waived when asked, 122.5x bonus wagering requirement on 40% is also pretty steep. Problem with whether or not bonuses are actually cashable is still present, seems like at the moment the bonus is "cashable" if you withdraw everything in your account, but if you leave some in, the "bonus" portion disappears.

I joined up today. It was the 200% SUB which tempted me.

So I deposited £50, got the bonus ok, and started spinning, a couple of minutes later a chat window opened up with some guy telling me that i can claim the 200% SUB, which I'd already claimed and was currently playing with !!!

Although the NetEnt games were being fairly generous (I managed to get a 450x win from 'secret of the stones'). The MGS games were absolutely stone cold. So the 450% win only covered what i'd lost on IR and TSII, and consequently I only managed to attain 59% of WR before hitting zero.

ALL the games I tried were laggy, and most crashed quite regularly, almost always during a bonus round (suspicious??)

So apart from the 200% SUB, I can't really see a reason why i'd deposit there again. especially with their £100 minimum withdrawal, 48 hours pending time, and from what i've read here about having to take a photo of yourself with your ID !!!!

I stick with my favorites, casinoluck and leovegas

oh, and after i hit zero (i'd made sure i spent every last penny) the WR were still there. so i don't know if a second deposit would get tied into the remaining WR or if it would cancel it

I gave them a try yesterday too.

They have a great selection of games including Rival, and accept AUD, so they're now on my preferred list. I really enjoy playing some Rival slots (Scary Rich!!) but don't normally bother because most Rival casinos cannot be trusted.

I did get a lot of error messages and the slots were quite laggy, but I'm sure this can be fixed given time.

Hi zreb!
would you please message me with your username and I will take a look at this? Not sure why you would receive your withdrawal in different currency, will find out.

Can you also tell me which 40% bonus you took so that I can look at the wagering requirements as well?

Hi LL!

Welcome and glad to hear that we made your preferred list! Would you please message me about the error messages you were getting? Any other information you could give me will be very helpful. I will take it directly to the tech team to look at and investigate.
Happy Holidays!!

Server down

Hello,
does anyone experiment a server down today. When trying to reach the casino, I'm redirect to a page with the logo of "Curacao gaming" and there is the following message:

We're sorry
The origin servers appear to be temporarily unreachable.
Please wait a moment and try again.

Contact: [email protected]

Does anybody experiment the same ?

regards

Alain

hi guys

tried this casino tonight...

played immortal romance, was not kind at all, lost quickly. but I did like the casino, no lagging and easy to navigate. nice one tropezia I will be back!

well I did go back:thumbsup: got a text message on my phone for a 100% offer up to £150. only problem was its 35x bonus and deposit :eek2: so really x70 bonus:eek2:

I thought I have a crack with £50, did well cashed out over £200:thumbsup: was told I don't need to send in id. so just awaiting payment:thumbsup:

I find that outrageously high. I deposited £50 on Friday and received a £25 bonus. I had to wager an extortionate amount of £2650 before I could withdraw.
I know it's my fault and I should have asked but I assumed it was 20x deposit and bonus.

I did manage to withdraw a small amount but there are way more casinos with way less WR terms.

payment received no problem to neteller without id, but x70 wr is far too high to deposit something decent with.

I don't understand why I have to stand holding my I.D and take a picture, how does the confirm its my Skrill account?

Surely a screenshot of my Skrill account showing transactions,my name and address should be suitable, the way it is suitable for any other accredited casino.

I just can't help but think of 419eater when it comes to this sort of thing, and I'll be buggered if I'm taking a selfie with me holding some form of ID or another to prove, erm, absolutely nothing that I can think of - it's demeaning.

I've read through this entire thread as I was tempted to have a go here to play the Leander slots, but on balance I'm leaning towards not registering and depositing.

For starters the payout times are too slow, 48 hours pending is a dreadful backwards step IMO, especially when we have 'new wave' casinos like Videoslots, BetAt, Redbet, Unibet etc (and established greats like 3Dice and Sky Vegas) measuring their payout times in hours if not minutes.

I'm also slightly disconcerted by the mention of someone being sent a text about a bonus offer (although I assume this sort of thing is opt-in rather than opt-out, and that a mobile number isn't mandatory?), and also several mentions of technical issues.

And I'm still not even sure what the WR is on the SUB, 20xD+B or 35xD+B?

EDIT - Took a look at the site and the bonus WR does seem to be clearly set at 20xD+B, site itself looks fine, very good selection of slots. Still not convinced to register and deposit though if payout times are going to measured in days should I come to make a withdrawal.

l.

I can handle holding my ID, but yeah, 48 hours is nuts. My flag isn't red, white AND blue....under 24 hours is today's standard.

But what does it prove? They have no idea what I look like, all it proves is that 'someone' is holding a piece of ID that corresponds with what the account was registered with.

I've been playing online for six years and I've verified my docs at countless casinos, I've never been required to send any of them a picture of myself holding my ID.

But yeah, the 48 hours pending period is a killer all by itself for me, plus they seem to operate on 'business hours' so I guess weekends and holidays don't count either.

the reloads are mainly 35xd/b... too steep for me to try them again..

Hi Greigssy!

you will soon start seeing more and more casinos that require/will requre this - it is for increased security of your identity. Sorry about the inconvenience.

Hi ChopleyIOM!

Thank you for your input. As a matter of fact, we are looking for more staff for our payments team and then the processing times will drastically speed up. Our first goal is to process in half the time as now; in 24 hours.

Also, the image with your ID is simply for better protection of all player's identities and helps us greatly in preventing fraud and minimising the risk for fraud. We ask this from players that get flagged by the system, it is nothing personal of course. More and more casinos will start with this procedure in order to improve the overall security.

Hopes this helps clear out few questions!
Cheers

Hi jjezebel37!
the WRs will be evaluated at in the next couple of weeks.

Hello again,
of course it helps. It proves that the the digital copies of your identity documents are really yours and not another "profile" that comes from a batch. That is why IDs have photos, so that you can get identified on the spot in real life - on the internet it is a bit tricker because people send in their scans, but you cannot see their face :)
So, it can be whoever that actually sends the scan. Did you hear about the guy who got arrested in the UK last year and they found 5900 identities in his computer? Crazy...

I know that a lot of regular players get affected from this and I am sorry for the inconvenience. However, we are sure it will become a standard in example for certain payment methods that are less secure than others.

Hope this helps explain further.
Cheers!

But why pend at all? Why not just say we'll process your withdrawal ASAP?

It can't have escaped your attention that there are a lot of 'new wave' casinos for whom 3 or 4 hours would be considered a slow pay, let alone 24 hours at pending and then we might get around to it....

Hey dionysus!
We have Ecopayz but it is not listed on the banking page. It is available in the deposit section. Sorry about that, will have the information added to the banking page as well.

Put on your lucky socks :)

.....and please make sure these socks are clearly visible in the selfie you submit.

Sorry. Couldn't resist.

Beside a high wagering requirement for their bonuses, does anyone see any reason why they shouldn't be promoted to an Accredited Casino? Their BBF time has expired. :D

I haven't received my complimentary lucky socks!

Well, my plan was giving up gambling for new year, alas, after having a spare bit of cash I thought why not give it a go at Tropezia.

Was worth the deposit, made a tidy profit.

A few things...

The site's deposit and withdrawal pages feel "cheap". Where you put in card details and deposit amount, it feels like a page a scammer would setup to try and get someone's details. It doesn't feel that secure... Then after entering details it does a popup to payment processor which of course feels more secure. Hard to explain what I mean but other casinos integrate payment processor's into their deposit pages so your details are entered direct into the payment processor... Not put into the website, which submits the info to the payment processor in a popup window.

48 hour reverse time :(. Big concern as always. Plus if you have a pending withdrawal, you cant deposit again. Let's say someone wins £10,000 and makes a withdrawal. Then a day later they feel like a small £50 deposit... What are they supposed to do? Play elsewhere? or risk reversing the £10,000 then making another withdrawal for £9950 (restarting the 48 hour pending time) and play with the remaining £50. Most of the latest accredited casinos have a system where you hit withdrawal and thats it, no reversible period, they will get their money and can continue to deposit if they wish. Flushing should be allowed at minimum if you do not already offer it.

Being paid out in EURO's? I don't know if this still happens as I havent long made my withdrawal... However if I remember things correctly, MR Green had this issue too at the start but started paying out in the currency someone uses to withdraw with before they were accredited (Don't quote me on that 1 but i'm quite sure that was the case).

In a way its like if a player wanted to deposit £100, but said to the casino "Hey, I want my account credited with £100, but i'm only going to pay €100, if you want the extra £18, email me for it". The casino would say no way. Same for us players, we want our winnings paid in full the first time, not have to contact staff to get the excess paid. Plus wouldn't it cost more in processor fees if you are not getting the amount right first time and are having to send a second payment with the excess?

Apart from that, seems good, loads of games.

The 48 hour pending/reversal time is a real backwards step IMO, I know it isn't a barrier to being accredited but when we have so many new casinos showing how it's done with incredibly quick withdrawals, I believe this should count against Tropezia in their CM rating until such time as they reduce or remove the reversal period completely.

It was enough to put me off signing up there completely for now.

Agreed - I think with the advent of more sites paying out almost 'by return' there should be points allocated as such:
Top level: (GUTS Videoslots etc.) have NO facility to reverse at all as w/d's are effectively flushed as you do them and paid in less than 24 hours, often in an hour or less. Includes weekends.
Medium level: pays in 24 hours or less but have reverse available for the 2 hours/8 hours etc. before processing. Includes weekends.
Low-Medium Level: (Red Flush, VPL) Has a lowish pending period of 24 hours but NO weekend cashouts but do flush if asked.
Low level: Sites with pending in excess of 24 hrs. but max 48 with NO weekend cashouts and no flushing available.
Pond-bottom level: Pending in excess of 48 hours (many Playtechs) no flushing and NO weekend cashouts.
Cesspit-level: Those with >48 hrs. and NO flush/weekends that bombard you with bonus 'reverse' offers when you have a pending withdrawal.

To get ID out the way I asked live support about what documents will be required. I was told passport, ID or driving licence and they need both front and back of it.

Knowing a lot of casinos want more than that, I asked about front/back of card, bank statement etc and was abruptly told:

"Yes! All of it"... A bit rude really. Considering if I had just sent my passport, I would only of found out days later that I need to send the other documents and my withdraw will be delayed longer.

Plus what's this with asking for front and back of passport? The back doesn't show any info.

Contacted support today to confirm my documents have been received, support said yeah (not approved yet though).

Flushing is indeed not allowed on the first withdrawal (why? If players do not get their winnings quick the 1st time... they wont be back).

Pending reverse time gone by since withdrawal so far: over 44 hours
Hours since docs submitted: over 24

Chances are the staff who verify documents have gone home meaning my docs wont be approved for at least another 11 hours.

Compare this to 2 recently accredited casinos 1st withdrawals (under 4 hours and under 2 hours), docs approval time (under 2 hours and around 6 hours).

It feels like maybe theres still a few things that need doing? It's awkward not having an end live chat button, would be better having an end chat button then a screen where you can request a copy of chat.

To be honest, the second I get my cash, i'm gonna terminate my account for good. Is it really acceptable for docs to take over 24 hours to approve when all some has to do is look at them and say yes or no?

While it hasn't exceeded the pending withdrawal time yet, it clearly will exceed it by time docs are verified and it's processed.... Not good guys.

(Not having a bitch and moan btw, I always detail my experiences here at casino's in question)

Perhaps acceptable and is not something wrong by any means, I have seen worse.

However, the standard nowadays has sadly been set high since quickfire was introduced and many casinos trying for BBF have opted to do non download casinos, no reverse times, documents approved in under 24 hours and payouts are under 24 hours.

While I guess a unique selling point at tropezia is the massive selection of games to cater for every single type of player, speed of approval/payouts is equally as important.

I appreciate that luckysox says they are trying to make payouts under 24 hours, but its probably more essential to get the players first withdrawal paid as quick as possible (even if it means more staff approving docs/processing payments), otherwise players will take that first withdrawal, hop across to the other side of the online gaming street and never look back. Yes "flushing" is allowed after the 1st withdrawal... But how are players who are not a member here meant to know?

Not claiming I know anything about running a casino... as I don't, but this has been a general concern from other members too in the tropezia threads

Scrap what I just put.... Read email wrong....

I should of put payment "accepted" after around 56 hours,

Read the line underneath:

"Please note that payments can take 5 to 7 working days to be processed and to appear on your bank statement."

So i'm guessing after 56 hours its just no longer reversible and will be processed (as in sent to my bank) in 5-7 working days :/

Paid and its in my bank. This is actually quite impressive.

There must of been so mis-communication... doc's must of been approved but I wasnt given confirmation email.

Email saying payment "accepted" must of meant payment sent. Quite pleased with that... only taken a few hours for the wire transfer to hit my bank.

Thanks tropezia

"You cannot make a deposit because you have a withdrawal pending" is the message I get when I try to deposit.

Sure I have a withdrawal pending but I should be able to deposit that doesn't make any sense. Yes I can ask to get the withdrawal flushed but that can only be done in business hours, so I'm stuck. I've learned the hard way to not reverse a withdrawal so I wont and now I will have to take my deposit elsewhere.

Maybe there is a good reason for this.
