Rivals dropping like flies

Planet 23 and Apollo are both closing their doors. Apparently because of issues with Rival.

Looks bad for Rivals...

From what I know ( I may be wrong, there may be others) the only Rival not using the Rival software processing is Slotocash.

I would be careful depositing into other Rivals at this time...

Box24/Black Diamond and BetUS also do NOT use Rivals processor.

However, I must agree - this does not look good at all for Rival casinos. :(

The closure of Vanguard and Slot power showed that it was REALLY a marketing portal, or "super affiliate", in charge of MARKETING the casinos. They had NO POWER to change the customer experience which was run by Rival, but ONLY the power to design and market the various promotions.

Nothing is going to IMPROVE now that the marketing partners have walked, and if such professionals decide to walk because Rival are providing such a poor level of service, surely PLAYERS ought to seriously consider taking the same walk with them.

Rival are slowly bleeding to death, yet seem unwilling to take action to stem the losses. Rival management need to consult their remaining partners, and come up with improvements that will encourage them to stay.

This entire arrangement has always been less than transparent, and we now know that we have been regularly misinformed in the past so as to prevent the nature of the arrangement from becoming known. Initially, Rival were "just the software provider", an argument which was steadily weakened when it seemed that casino OPERATORS often used the excuse that they had little or no control over even the minor issues, and had to get back to "the software provider" about issues that had nothing to do with the gaming software, but rather decisions that had been made on player accounts.

I suspect the Tradition fiasco put the boot in, since after this the hemorrhage of "marketing partners" began, and perhaps with an accompanying hemorrhage of players.

There is more chance of England winning the world cup than of Rival emerging from this pile of $h1t smelling of roses:D

What apparently happened is that Rival is now holding 40% of all deposits for an extremely long time. Hence the small casinos have to close there is no way they can pay Rival, employees, winners and affiliates.

The above is hear-say and not verified by me as yet.

AFAIK the small casinos don't pay winners and affiliates - Rival hold all the money and do all the paying (or not).
Logically then, the casinos don't pay Rival either.
What all that boils down to is that Rival are not paying the owners of the casinos their share of the profits - and so they can't pay their employees. That's why they're shutting down.

Just my interpretation of the facts I have gathered over the years - this has not been confirmed as gospel by anyone that I know of.

I recently started playing at VegasAces Casino, and i really like the software but never played so much on Rival casinos, as some times the money i deposited just went straight in the bin in short time :)
But ive decieded to give it a go again with VegasAces casino ;)

But i sent them all my identity docs etc and asked how long they are with withdrawals etc..., and it all seems quite positive?

Since BetUS apparently doesn't use rival processing, it's a better bet than the ones who do.

I wouldn't leave any funds lying around though...looks like there are just a lot of other issues now too. Processing was and remains the major one though, and the casinos handling their own appear to have a better chance.

Notice though that my language is very tentative here...

Last week I have had a few wins at Vegas Regal Casino. Had to send in Documents for the first win. They took care of things very quickly and received both wins in 3 days.

Just an update regarding Vegas Aces Casino....
Superb support!!! after my docs where verified etc...
One of their supervisors misunderstood, and had my winnings setup for withdrawal without i even had to make deposit.... i made playtrough on their 27$ free chip, and had 81$ max payout.
I wanted to make deposit and play as well, i made big confusions lol, guess a whole other world than the way casino la vida does.... i had answers of emails i sent straight away. Where they never answered my emails.
But went to livechat and they helped out with everything, i couldnt make deposit because system blocked for it etc.., they have now manually removed the 81$ and sent them to my moneybookers for withdrawal!!!!
What a NICE service!!!! by the way it was JILL from support who helped out in close talk with her boss.....all credit to them ;)
Wish there were more casinos like that, no doubt im playing there in future...
Just wanted to let U guys know, will update about my withdrawal etc...

Just to clarify, Box24 Casino and Black Diamond Casino - like Sloto - are independent of Rival. Everything from processing to support is done in house.

The promotion clearly states You have to deposit before withdrawal. That was why i contacted them, because their system would not let me deposit etc..., but the nice girl in live chat, contacted her boss who was there, and also sent email for me to their department... And she got it arranged so they would withdraw my winnings to my moneybookers in 3 days proccesing time maybe earlier, also was told i cant deposit until they are cleared. Seemed to be some kind of block or something.

I'm not implying anything except they aren't included in the NR list since they run their own support and payment processing.

If any reps of the listed casinos feel that they should be excluded from the list, they should let me know.

Excuse me. But it is not 21 Magic Casino is it. The only Rival Casino I could find is called 21 Grand Casino, with 21 in its name...?
