QUOTE=deucebag;508005 A certain percentage of each bet goes into the jackpot. Larger bets pay more into the jackpot per spin, and therefore have a proportioanally greater chance of hitting the jackpot.
You're right in the first instance a certain percentage does go into the jackpot from every spin. I don't think you're correct in the second assumption (at least not for every jackpot game, you are right about some)
If Redbet Andy wants to make a real contribution to the forum, I challenge him to reveal the following information:
Oh I love a challenge me.
1) The percentage of each bet that goes into the jackpots
It varies by each jackpot slot and to be fair to all the other Net Ent operators, and to Net Ent I don't think I can tell you that if they don't. If it was up to me I would cos I've got a big gob, but the bottom of their game sheets say "private and confidential".
2) The probability of hitting each jackpot by bet size
That they don't share with us, and I'm no Stephen Hawking so I couldn't work it out, sorry.
If a casino cares at all about transparency, this type of information should be made available. IMO it's equally important as RTP.
Again, that's got to be up to the games providers and it may reveal too much to other games providers. There's obviously a reason they don't reveal it, or maybe it's just that nobody's ever asked...
Unfortunately, I suspect the odds of hitting jackpots are far longer than the casinos care to reveal. That's why they don't put it in the paytable or help files.
