I'd just like to share some of my experiences briefly. All in all, no matter what slot I try to "best", I come up short.
My methodology is always the same, 200 test spins, each at, bet 0.5/1/2. If the RTP is closer than 10% of what is promised, then I try my luck at .5 bets, for 50 runs or till I am 90%+ of initial bankroll.

This has, so far, kept me afloat, at around -10% under my starting bankroll these past three months. The only win, to exceed my rules of playing, was in Wild Swarm, during a bonus play, where I landed a whopping 130ish quid. Cashed them out immediately.

Since them, I am kind of stuck. I am not winning, increasing my BR, and at the same time, I am not decreasing it either.
Any suggestions? Should I run with Sticky win featured games and increase the bets or just lowball my way to a catatonically induced state or?

I appreciate you taking the time to reply. It's sound and reasonable, and I will try to explore some of it. My inquirers were based on the entertainment aspect rather than breaking the bank - would be nice, but I am too cautious a player to be high rolling. I just hoped there were games out there allowing for good earnings in the basegame, not hinging on your luck to trigger bonus rounds.

That’s a fine shout, the base game can be superb. The free spins are volatile as hell, but kill the creature and you have a chance at swampy glory!..
also the theme, graphics and music are really entertaining.

GoldLab is def an ez bonus to get and it doesnt always pay terribly . I'd say it generally pays better than steamtower which is supposedly easy game to bonus also (altho not for me) except steamtower has a bit bigger potential as goldlab seems capped at like 150x or so ? Ive never seen bigger than that anyway

GL doesnt produce any monster hits, but it can help top up your balance a bit to go play something else

Yeah I’ll opt for gold lab, however the base game is terrible, that said starburst doesn’t have a bonus round and the full screen of bars is a myth.
I’ll go gold lab, it’s freespins after all so I’ve lost nothing either way.
Hopefully get a hours free play time.

How about this for bad luck I opened Reactoonz played first spin at 40p got Gargantoon and the last feature before Garga was demolition which left all the big symbols at the bottom and purple on right I couldn't not win big could i?? Yes Garga decided to pop up at top left where the minor symbols were in the only place it did not join with the big symbols. Sometimes you just hate this game for the riggedness of it. win of £13.46 should have been £134 in my opinion.
