Yes, casinos can get out of the pit, if they can prove to the CasinoMeister that they will only walk the straight & narrow path from now on.
That in itself is not an easy thing to do - and if it were up to me, I would never give Betfair another chance, because what they did was beyond disgraceful IMO.

And no, they never did clear it all up as far as I know. I did hear rumours that some players who lost large amount did get some sort of settlement after threatening legal action, but I don't know if that's true or what percentage of the robbed players went that route.

Rouge: adj. "Of or being of the colour red" (rare)
Rogue: adj. "Without control or discipline; behaving abnormally or dangerously; erratic, unpredictable." (OED)

32red could be called a rouge casino.

i actually played there before i saw it here too, for me it was hard to just stop playing there because it was one of very very few casino that i was ahead all year around. they always paid me very fast but maybe because i never took any bonus on my deposits?

i dont understand how such a large company has not fixed everything till now, with so many customers they could cover the loss of their fault in very short time.

Well to be honest i dont think they should be in the rouge pit after the reasearch i have done (Thats my opinion and dont want it arguing)

If it wasdeliberate they would have being shut down , The industry is so tight at the minute and betfair is still one of the worlds leading casinos online,

We were debating weather or not to remove them but to be honest i dont think they have crossed the line

You are of course entitled to your opinion, but have you really read the whole thread? It's over 50 pages. Do that first is my suggestion.

i skimmed a few pages in all honesty , but to be honest in alot of forums (not just here) when people get into a conversation sometimes people get carried away and start to take there story a step to far, Saying that

i agree of every casino that is in the rouge pit except from betfair.

You are free to continue to like them, but saying that they not should be in the pit is not so smart since both the members here and Casinomeister believes that they belong there.
I still think you should read the thread. You don't have to change your mind, but it's good to know what have happened there before, in case anything happens again:)

Maybe not all of them but many actually removed them. It's not all about money you know. It's about protecting the players and do the right thing.

It was very deliberate - Rather than admitting they offered too generous a bonus they locked most players accounts, took funds from people's Moneybookers/Bank accounts and accused a large proportion of players of abuse, purely because they had a promo where the terms were very loose. There is no way these things could be deemed as accidental.

This is one of the most high profile blunders from a previously well respected gambling platform in recent years and is very well publicized all over the internet, not just this website.

Betfairs handling of the situation meant that the only conclusion would be to rogue them as they had broken a number of rules required for accredited casino's.

Edit - As for regulation, well it really depends where the gambling license is held as to how tight things are, there are a number of off shore licenses available that aren't controlled to the same extent as the UK/Alderney licenses. Haven't Betfair moved casino licensing to Malta/Gibraltar? I can't remember when this happened.

    Well I bloody did!
In fact, I Dumped and Rogued them even before CasinoMeister tossed them in the pit.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion I agree, but I don't understand how you can say STEALING MONEY from someone is ever OK or justified. :eek2:

Not likely! Shut down by whom? Very few jurisdictions have the power or will to shut anybody down, especially people that make them money.

FWIW I've been in this business from the start as have some of the bad guys, and many of them are STILL out there getting rich off of stealing or having stolen from players. Some of them have shrivelled up and died, but others have become richer than god -- still doing so today -- and not because they played by the rules, whatever those might be. The world of online gambling has always been more Wild West than Marquess of Queensberry and while that is changing it is happening v e r y s l o w l y.

To be fair here is some justice in this business but not much and it is spread awfully thin. Look at Casinomeister's Rogue Pit, check out how long some of those guys have been around and are still doing business today. Look at their list of offences, search the forums for what they've been up to. Still think the bad guys "get shut down"? You're dreaming sweet pea! They may try a new coat of paint every now and again but "shut down"? LOL. If by "shut down" you mean "embarrassed by how successful they've been but learning to live with it" then yeah, maybe so.

Read the thread, do your research. The answer is "yes", many times over.

You are seriously missing the point. If someone mugs you and empties your bank accounts do you lay charges against them because you "don't like them" or because you don't like getting beaten up, robbed and seeing the guilty bastards walk away scott free? Again, do your research. It cuts down on the amount of BS that you talk without knowing any better. Nothing personal, just saying.

FYI you can start here: Betfair - not so fair...
