Accredited RTG's with differing RTP's

A while back I discovered a change in the reel layout of Fruit Frenzy at Doyles, and it was discussed here.

Since then, two other CM accredited RTG's followed suit, and have the same reel layout change on Fruit Frenzy (Casino Titan and Grande Vegas).

The jury is still out on whether or not that change has increased or decreased the RTP, but let's be realistic, it likely lowers the RTP. So, my question is...why would players knowingly play at a casino that changed the RTP, when there are so many others that haven't changed? It's not to say you can't win with a lower RTP, but it doesn't make sense to play where your chances are lower. I guess the obvious answer is that players aren't aware of this change, so let it be known that not all RTG's have the same RTP, and it can be easily identified.

Personally, I refuse to deposit at any RTG that displays the reel layout change on Fruit Frenzy. In a very competitive market, maybe we, as players, need to take a stand and let these casinos know we won't deposit as long as this condition exists. I'm not knocking these casinos, because customer service is great, payouts are fast, and CM supports them, but the named casinos with the changed RTP's didn't start out that way, and they made a business decision to change. Let them know the change has been noticed, and their business decision will actually diminish their profits in the end, because they will lose their customer base.

Just my two cents...

Thank you for posting this in a manner many will understand. I have tried for a very long time to make a stand against these "unproven" changes...so..I am hoping you fair better than I ever did...in making players notice that there really is something going on in the backround that they are not privvy to and is not to their benefit.. JMO...no proof..

I have long ago deleted these casinos because they are too tight, in my experience. But what are they changes to the game that are noticeable? Please help me because I am still fairly new to this online slot stuff! Thank you!

Well, if they changed RTP on Fruit Frenzy by making modifications to the reels, does this mean that RTP on other games is also presumable lower?? My understanding is that RTG software will allow to set different RTP for different slots, unless i did not read it correctly somewhere here...

Personally i don't play Fruit Frenzy but it would be definitely a cool way to determine since the official RPTs are not posted anywhere i know of...

You are correct; Different RTG slots can be set to different RPT's - in fact, they have to be since they don't all have the same settings available.
Some have 91-95-97.5%, some just 91-94%, some 95-97.5%, some only 94% (progressives) and one has 86-91-94%!
The problem is, we don't know what each casino has theirs set to
We could work it out if we had the reel layouts - but we don't.
(I could plot them out if someone would like to pay me a VAST sum of money to do it! (It's extraordinarily time-consuming)).

It might not be that hard;)

RTG slots do NOT store the last position, but initialise to a default every time the game is entered. This provides a potential short cut for determining the settings at different RTG casinos. There may be other key differences that can be spotted by reference to known "landmarks" on the reels, and it should NOT be necessary to plot the reels at each casino to determine the RTP settings there.

We just need some known reference points from which to extrapolate;)

Yes, that's what I said (I think!) - the only way you can be sure that your extrapolations are 100% correct is to know the reel layouts.
As each slot would take me something like 10-12 hours to plot out, it's very hard to find the motivation to do even one, let alone all of them... :eek2:

DogBoy001:
Heya

86%? Well I certainly presume you aren't talking about a reel series slot, because that just doesn't exist in that category.

Woooof
Of course not! Who would think it much less put it in print!:eek2:

Are the casinos listening?

Just noticed something interesting. Logged into Grande Vegas today because I received a promo email about a new game (which as of this writing wasn't there), but also checked out Fruit Frenzy. The "inline pears" were no longer present, so it would appear the RTP has been changed back...maybe. There was a "Lobby" update when I first connected, but I assumed it was because of the newly added game (again, which wasn't there at the time), but maybe the update was the possible RTP change. I say possible, because maybe the casino didn't actually change the RTP, but made it appear so...it's possible that RTG updated Fruit Frenzy's reel layout, so that it wouldn't appear differently, but the RTP remained the same. On the other hand, maybe Grande Vegas took notice that we (the players) noticed the change, and requested to have their RTP changed back (as I understand it, only RTG can make those change requests).

Hmmm....

Is it really possible to set the high/medium/low configurations differently for each slot? I thought it was only one setting per casino. Then the obvious choice to hide the rtp would be to change Fruit Frenzy back to at least medium and keep the others on low, as we can see the difference in FF, but have no clue about the other games.

KK, I'm curious where you got that info from regarding an 86% RTP and if it is truly accurate?

I got it from the same place I got the returns of all the other RTG slots... ;)
After Dogboy's comment I have assumed it is a miss-print and have adjusted the figures on SlotBeaters.com accordingly.
It did strike me as very strange in the first place.

Yea, that's kinda what I though...have you noticed that RTG has now shut those links down since casinojack posted a few here... ;)

Without sounding like a complete goof...MG slots such as Break da Bank Again and Isis do these use dynamic reel positions or are they also of a static nature?

Cheers

As I have stated before, with so many rogue casinos running the RTG platform while "accredited" RTG operators stand silent can only mean, IMHO, that any RTG operator has the potential of cheating the player and, apparently, it may prove out that some are.

- Reel layouts still unavailable? Gee, I'm shocked.

- Advertising RJPs won by players who were playing on a bonus or free-chip and therefore only able to cash out $50

- Predatory bonus/bonus terms schemes

- (add your favorite rogue-ish trait HERE)

If not a barrel of completely bad apples, there are way too many for me to take a chance and mess with. Only player action through boycott will ever change this.

Static - just the same as every software I know of - including RTG.

I have the reel layouts for Isis - but I'm such a lazy ass that I haven't done the "graphicy bit" for SB yet...

KK

im might be mistaken, but i was sure it is common knowledge that, yes, every rtg HAS the possibility to "cheat"
this is the only big platform online where the operators have this freedom to change the rtp/payout percentage, but i would suppose that the accredited ones are being audited for this?!
