Malaysian Anti-online Gambling Operations Continue

24 arrested in new raids in Sarawak province

Police in Kuching, capital of the Malaysian state of Sarawak on Borneo, have reported the arrest of 24 individuals during two raids on internet gambling dens.
A police spokesman told local media that personnel from the state Anti-Vice, Gaming and Gangsterism Unit (D7) took part in the raids on a warehouse and a shophouse in a night time operation.
Forty-five computer sets, cash and other evidence were seized during the raids.
