Minted Poker Drops Out Of Sight

By Casinomeister, Last updated Oct 2, 2015

Website now redirects to a clothing company

Aggrieved players have again brought Minted Poker into the spotlight, alleging that the company has dropped out of site, closing without announcement and not responding to communications, and that the .eu url now routes to a clothing company, whilst the .com domain is being offered for sale.
InfoPowa readers will recall that Minted Poker was a member of the ill-fated Everleaf network which unceremoniously and at short notice shut out US players in 2012 following reports of non-payment, claiming that it was prompted to do so by a threatening communication from the US Department of Justice. Shutdown terms for US players were widely criticised as player-unfriendly.
The operator appeared to go out of business later in 2012, but resurfaced the following year on the small Curacao-licensed Pluto's network, itself reportedly staffed by former Everleaf employees and using suspiciously similar software.
Pluto's failed to gain traction, with seven-day average player numbers of around 60 dropping to a current zero, according to independent monitor Pokerscout. Minted again vanished this year; there has been no response to emails, and the operational support at the twoplustwo forum dried up.
Pluto's network seems to have fared badly, too; although it remains operational, the focus appears to be attempting to sell turnkey poker and casino sites.
Independent gambling website directories list Minted as an online poker room offering casino games using NetEnt software and poker software from Riversource IP AG: http://riversource.li/. It is reportedly one of 6 online gaming sites owned by Velorum Corporation N.V., which also apparently owns the still-operational sites PokerDing, Starbet Gaming, EliosPoker, Magik Poker, and BetandGirls.
