Extends product line to cater to all its viewership, says developer
Canadian smart TV software developer TransGaming Inc. has launched a new free-to-play social slots game on Freebox Revolution in France, the triple-play box of French broadband and telecom operator Free.
"Slots XL", the first launch in TransGaming's new GameTree Casino product line, offers five slot games, mini games, free chips, a daily spin bonus, achievement levels and in-app purchases.
"With additional deployments slated for 2016 we are excited to be first to market in a new frontier for the lucrative world of social-casino," Dennis Ensing, chief executive officer for TransGaming said.
"GameTree Casino brings one of the hottest sectors on mobile to the living room. Slots XL is another indication of our innovative thinking and leadership position on Connected TV and, as we move aggressively into this successful sector of games, a key underpinning of our plans for growth will be in place."
TransGaming claims to hold partnerships with all major brands of Smart TV manufacturer as well as a number of international pay TV providers. The company says its GameTree TV cloud-based game service is available to play on over 100 million connected TV's.
