Cease Illegal marketing in Norway, orders gaming authority

LeoVegas is seemingly in a little hot water following an illegal advertising promotion offered by online market place MrDeal to the Norwegian market.
According to the Norwegian Gaming Authority, Lotteritilsynet, the promotion was investigated after telephone subscribers complained they had received illegal advertising related to LeoVegas via a volley of SMS' from MrDeal.
The MrDeal contact invited recipients to visit the website of, and play at, LeoVegas, an operator not licensed to offer play in Norway.
Lotteritilsynet has reportedly instructed LeoVegas to cease all marketing immediately.
