Winamax Launch Online Sports Betting Into French Market

Online gaming operator Winamax has expanded its online poker offer to include online sports betting via a dedicated tab at winamax.fr.
A timeous launch given the upcoming Brazil World Cup 2014, Winamx offers real-money pre-match and live betting on ten sports that include football, tennis, handball, basketball, ice hockey, baseball, rugby, snooker,
auto-moto three-wheel scooter racing and beach volleyball.
French regulator L'Autorité de régulation des jeux en ligne (ARJEL) awarded Winamax an online sportsbetting licence last month (see previous InfoPowa report).
Additional sports disciplines will continue to be added as the offer develops.
