Nevada Gambling Revenues Flat

Online poker delivers lowest revenues to date

Nevada gambling revenues for November 2014 remained flat compared to the same period last year, the Nevada Gaming Control Board said Tuesday.

Total Nevada casinos reported revenues of $876 million in November of which the Las Vegas Strip brought in $508 million, 4 percent down y-o-y. Downtown revenues were $43 million, an increase of 13 percent and Reno revenues were $43 million, down 1 percent. South Lake Tahoe revenues dropped a whopping 30 percent to $12 million.

Tax revenues of $47 million were taken by the State of Nevada for the month of November, 5 percent down compared to the same period last year.

Online poker revenues reached $641 000 for the month, its lowest yield ever.
