Latitude360 Acquires Major League Fantasy

To open first live in-venue fantasy sports books supported by online platform
US restaurant entertainment chain Latitude360 has entered the fantasy sports industry with the acquisition of online daily fantasy sports firm Major League Fantasy (MLF) for an undisclosed consideration.
In a two-pronged approach, Latitude360 will roll out the first chain of live in-venue "fantasy sports books" in its venues in Indianapolis, Jacksonville and Pittsburgh as well as in the planned opening of other venues in Albany, Boston, Chicago and Minneapolis. The entertainment company will also open a 100,000 square-foot location in Wall Street.
"We're thrilled to become a part of the Latitude 360 family," said Jesse Merl, chief executive officer of MLF. "We can't imagine a better way to grow our audience than to make it accessible through the most exciting entertainment destination to come along in a very, very long time.
"The Latitude 360 venues ensure that after proper game implementation, our competitors will be fighting for second place in the live real-money fantasy vertical we are creating."
