Pied Piper Of Hamelin Is Back On The Streets

New slot from Quickspin features German childrens’ tale

The traditional medieval German childrens’ tale about a musician capable of luring vermin away with his playing – the Pied Piper of Hamelin – forms the theme for the latest five reel, 40 pay-line slot from Swedish developer Quickspin.

InfoPowa readers may recall that when the burgers of Hamelin refused to pay the piper for his services in luring rats away from the town he changed his tunes and led 130 children off, never to be seen again.

Features in the Pied Piper game include scatters, wilds, walking wilds, free spins, re-spins and bonuses. The game is due for release January 9 2018.

Scandinavian Flavour In New Quickspin Slot

Northern Sky has high-paying crystal symbols shaped into animals

Swedish online gambling games developer Quickspin has announced the release on February 13 of a new online 5 reel, nine pay-line online slot titled Northern Sky.

The theme, as the title suggests, is Scandinavian, capturing the spectacular light phenomena in the snowy polar regions, with glittering crystalline symbols shaped into animal likenesses.

The game features respins on all wins, plus a free spins bonus using only the high paying animal symbols, where respins continue until no more wins are created. Wilds and Scatters are also active in the game, along with Multipliers.

Infopowa news was a staple of Casinomeister’s news from 2000 until 2019. Brian Cullingworth was the main writer, contributor, and was one of the most knowledgeable persons I have ever known involved in the online casino industry.

We first met in January 2001 at the ICE in London where I observed him going booth to booth interviewing online casino, software, and licensing jurisdiction representatives. Brian was also heavily involved with our forum as “Jetset“, he was involved as an informal consultant to eCOGRA, the OPA, and was a player advocate who assisted countless aggrieved players with his connections to industry folks. He also published “Casino Cautions” via Infopowa news for quite a number of years. These can be found in our news archives.

His passing in February 2019 was a dark day for us. He will be forever missed.
