Agreed that you need experience, just not convinced it has to be from the same industry in order to be good at your job.

We are on the same page here - the point being made is that none of them appear to have industry experience... if say 3/22 had experience we might suggest they are under-represented, but it wouldn't be in a way that impacts their ability to function.

I agree having that input from other industries - particularly those that provide insights to risk management, wellbeing and addiction - is extremely valuable, which was part of my observation that having too many would be equally bad... as it risks becoming yet another rubber-stamping quango.

In the last month or so WH have gifted me 2 x £5 free and a few 50% bonus offers [limited to max £20 or something like that], on that basis I'd say their low rtp model is not exactly a hit with depositers because normally they give you diddly squat.

I think I played the old cleopatra with those fivers, as it's still 95% rtp, chose 15 lines and was bust in no time, dead as a dodo.

Given how poor their odds have become across both sport and casino in the past couple of years, I suspect people will either not bother, or take the promotional money and run!

Bonanza is still available at 96.00% on WH, given the vast majority of other 96% games have now been removed, it's possible that WH are putting pressure on BTG to try and get them to deploy the German-only RTP models (around 90%) - and thus removed Bonanza 2 in that way.

I imagine it's Evolution who would make the decision.

As one of the few holdouts left, I suspect it's only a matter of time... particularly as sites like WH have already demonstrated that they will remove games that refuse to be offered at lower RTPs.

Same. Used to be a insulting £1 on a Wednesday past 2 weeks its £5 it did used to be £5 a week a few years ago mind. Also used to get £5 live casino bonus converted them many a time then they stopped doing them. Then I was bonus banned for 1 year and then suddenly able to use promos again. Very odd company

The newer BTG releases come in multiple math models. Bonanza falls for example. This will obviously continue in the future.

No news of older games being tweaked yet but wouldn’t surprise me in the future especially since SG/L&W in the picture.

Ah, I hadn't spotted Bonanza Falls was 94%/96% - I did check other recent releases with the slot aggregation sites and they suggest those were one RTP (excluding Germany), so either that information hasn't flowed out yet or Bonanza Falls was the first.

In any case, it's an unfortunate development... it may also explain why WH pulled it, if they intended to deploy 94% and deployed the 96% in error.

BTG is owned by Evolution, who have a stable of providers doing similar tricks (Red Tiger have had 90% models for years - intended for the Daily Jackpot mechanic but available without, NetEnt with their 9 math models and so on).

They had no qualms with retrofitting bonus buys to every slot in their catalogue, so 94% (and eventually 92% and 90%) nerfs are surely imminent at this point.
