Novibet offering mid to low range RTP for NetEnt

Been touched on in another thread but have just realised the lower version of Gonzo's Gold chosen by Novibet Casino is not one step down from default but two.

Therefore, think it deserves its own thread with a more relevant title. I hope nobody minds and we can record as we find more reductions.

So, Gonzo's Gold can be hosted with four different RTP ranges as far as I am aware:

96.11%, 95.07%, 93.07% or 91.09%.

Novibet is offering their players the 93.07% version.

Personally find this very disappointing. One or two games at mid-range are hard enough to take but a jump down by two versions shows where Novibet are aiming for.

Be wise, don't play it and find the 96.11% version elsewhere.

And check now each time you play for your own peace of mind.

p.s. Unibet have it at max :)

It's quite odd why that game - thought it may be 'new' ones across the board possibly but checked a new Prag game and it's 96%.

Maybe they're just going to start sneaking them in like an RTP Ninja ;)

Yes, it seems a few do it that way, throw a few in and see what happens.

Shows they are scared of the mighty power of the people.

Maybe the rep will come on and do what the 21Casino rep did and say it was a mistake.

Before lowering a month later :)

@Novibet Rep - could you add your input here please?

I've tagged the rep, maybe it is a one-off mistake (as Rizk did with the PnG Charlie Chance game), or maybe it's a deliberate new policy.

Either way we know the game definitely exists out there on a 96.xx% maths model so it'd be nice to know why it's turned up at Novibet on a very poor 93.xx% maths model.

I'd also like comment from the casino rep too.

I specifically play at Novibet without fear of reduced rtp, I still always check new games I open, and was shocked to find a 93% version.

They just started to become the No1 casino when visa direct was introduced (that still doesn't work for me), that coupled with max rtp versions plus the loyalty rewards and generous deposit offers. I can let one game slide, but the visa direct really needs sorted.

The RTP's hidden in the game rather than straight up on the load screen is quite dirty tactics, someone else mentioned about playing the same game in another thread at various casinos. These poor gamblers that don't know think it's the exact same game, I agree, filthy.

Hello everyone, I have an explanation regarding this.
We have already contacted NetEnt regarding this issue since the release.
Due to technical issues we were unable to release the higher RTP version on release date and, as a result, decided together with NetEnt to release the lower RTP version until the technical issues are figured out.
Our casino has always consistently chosen the highest RTP for their slots and we will do the same for Gonzo's Gold as soon as we are able to!
Hope this clears things up- if you have any further questions or queries feel free to reach out!

Sounds good, sorry if I jumped the gun.

Don't want to give bad press where it's not needed.

Reckon when you guys revert to the max version you may be the first online casino to ever increase the RTP version of a slot.

A noteworthy endeavour, deserving of its own new thread to celebrate :)

Mr green and 21casino have both done something similar they have reduced RTP on some games but not all, wanted to play Alice cooper at 21casino so checked the RTPs and its one of only two games I could find that are on 94% (the other being Dr. toonz,) so maybe its only being applied to new releases.

Mr green have reduced only the popular games like Bod and Reactoonz to 94% most are still at 96% (for now.)

Also if Novibet are only using maximum RTPs, and this Gonzo issue was a mistake looks like they will be getting a new customer..

Not that one but loads of others, casinos please let us opt out of these annoying, typically badly executed, interruptions. They serve no purpose other than for you to claim you take RG seriously, we're fully aware of time, we're not sat in a las vegas style 24hr, no windows or clocks room.

Red tiger have got a differently annoying one, which pops up when manually spinning, "2.5 seconds per spin" what's the purpose!? .(..Don't worry i've not totally lost my marbles, this is with those free spins offers, haven't put a penny of funds in RT for yonks )

Hi everyone, re: interruptions mid-game, I understand where you are coming from and thank you for clarifying this is mostly providers' interfaces rather than ours. While most people are indeed aware of time while gambling online we have to cater to customers who might not and even if they don't exist we must comply with regulation which requires such interruptions. If it is any consolation, as time goes by I would assume that such interruptions will become as smooth as possible but since this is something rather new such shortcomings are to be expected :(

Hi @Novibet Rep,

Can you confirm if you are offering max RTP on all slots please?

I have noticed the new Play'n GO and Crazy Tooth games are default 96% range, which are being offered by Unibet at lower-paying 94% range versions.

All NLC slots have been removed from Novibet UK. It just gets better and better… (I thought I should add that I’m not being sarcastic. I know a number of you would see this as a positive thing given your dislike for NLC slots 😉. But I like to play some of their titles.)

Just checked, that's a big wow, why is that @Novibet Rep?

I really like San quentin and a flutter on tombstone. I will literally never play an nlc slot again as I refuse to play the lower RTP's at other casinos. What's happened here then....

Its ok, they will be back soon. At 92%ers :p

p.s. It was mentioned that all BTG disappeared from a few sites also, I wonder what Evolution Gaming are up to.

Hopefully not trimming the catalogue, they will lose the older slots that make less money for casinos maybe?

Only seems to be gone from the UK Bookie sites - still available at the better sites :p

Well you should know why, lol
You and I both reported a problem with NLC slots at Novibet.
They probably want that fixed, rather than showing their games as glitchy.

I think it's down to the implementation of the new widget for Net position, which has been overlaid, partially, on the iframe of the game.

Ah…yes. I should have put two and two together lol. My excuse is that I had given my brain a little tickle last night so wasn’t thinking straight!

Gift wheel is back online now, though it’s not letting me spin it today.

NetEnt is all down as well - a banner announced they’re temporarily unavailable. So I think we can assume Starburst is going 94%.
