Can anyone help

I joned a casino on Friday, the second casino I have joined in this group.
The first casino I lost 100 (For The sign Up), Then 100 and 100. (Not whingeing AT ALL about that)

Then, I joined another of their casinos and got the sign up. Managed to profit about 500.

The thing is, I actually put my phone number in, even though another forum advised putting in a single digit.

I have since had 3 phone calls from them at home. Unfortunately, I work while my husband stays at home with the children. He has fielded all 3 calls from them and, rightly or wrongly, I dont tell him about playing the casinos.
Yesterday he told them I would be home for 5.30pm and the woman said they would call me back then. I was sat next to the phone all night but no one phoned.

This morning again, the same woman has phoned, becasuse the callers number does not display becasue of the callers location, my husband got a little irate and asked who she was and why she was phoneing. She told him it was about an account I opened and she would call back later.

Now my husband has just phoned me at work and had a go at me because he wants to know what is going on. I DO NOT WANT THE CASINOS CALLING ME AT HOME.

I have PMd the relevant casino Rep and emailed CS. Will they stop phoning me ??? This is starting to put me in a difficult position.

Does the group start with Belle and end with Rock

I asked them to stop and havent heard a thing since so if its them you should be ok

Well as you asked the question it is yes. Just causing unnecessary hassle

Hi GOCC,

Sorry about this. Our policy is not to phone a customer if they request that we do not do so. I will make sure that you are added to the "Do Not Call" list. I hope we have not caused any unnecessary problems.
Best regards,

Belle Rock

How about changing the policy to only calling customers if they've actively selected an option saying they want to be called? I don't know anyone who would want to be called by an on-line casino. Maybe there is a tiny minority, but wouldn't your resources be better spent dealing with the huge problems you seem to have with the basic running of your casinos i.e. adding bonuses, processing withdrawals, responding quickly to customer e-mails & not abruptly ending/never starting live chats?

If I ever got a marketing phone call from a casino or pokerroom I would de-install the software immediately and never give them any more business.

I detest cold calling :(

As of now (knock, knock), the only casino to call me was Golden Palace. I tried to deposit via CC, which was declined, and CS called to help me set up a deposit through Citadel.

Belle Rock

Pleased check your inbox. My husband has just received ANOTHER call :machinegu :machinegu

The only casino/group to ever call me unsolicited is Belle Rock(and I have joined many casinos.) They tried to call me several nights in a row. I didn't answer. The number was on Caller ID and when I called back it said Welcome to BR. They haven't tried again after the initial 3 calls.

To BR Support: Why are they calling? What do they ask? With all of the support problems I hear, it seems the time would be better spent on customers. I probably will not be playing at BR again because of these issues. I respect that they are trying improve and hope it works out.

Get on a No Call List

I would call the Department of Consumer Protection and get on a NO CALL LIST if they have one in your area.
Or get a caller ID You see someone you don't want to talk to you let it go.
I don't know how many times I got phone calls from people selling or promoting. But for online gaming you just tell them off & they will never call again I did that and they never called me again.
You have Many things to look into as for a No Call List but I would get one from your area that is free to the Consumer
Good Luck

Which Belle Rock casino is calling you? I created an account at The Gaming Club, and never heard from anyone. Have they given you a reason why they're calling?

The "Do not call list" will not work here for a couple of reasons. First, if you have done business with someone they can call, also it does not apply to businesses outside the US.

This is a HUGE problem IMO. Why are casinos calling people at home? How many spouses/parents/children dont know what the other is doing. This is a huge invasion of privacy and every time a casino or poker room calls me I never play at their room again. I have had several that continued to call me even after I told them not to call. They even managed to get my new phone # after I moved.

This is rude and irresponsible in many ways. The junk mail is too. I get so much junk mail from online casinos and poker rooms I have never set up an account with and all i know to do is not do business with them. Luckily my wife knows this is my life, how many wives arent as understanding?

Believe me, I am the first one to jump on peoples backs where incompetence is the cause because there is no excuse.

However, I would just like to thank Belle Rock for taking the time to take this on personally. It may only be a small simple matter but, I dont want the calls and have emailed them to stop.

Belle Rock has dealt with this and kept me fully informed on the way. He expresses his disgust that I got the second call because he had informed the CRS not to call me.

Just think of the excuse for the old man when I get home

There should be no secrets in a marriage - tell him the truth! ;)

My wife knows all about my gambling, and the only problem I have is she wants a share of my profits!

How good are Bellrock, eh? The rep promises to sort it out and you get another call within hours! Every day I am happier & happier that I don't play at any BellRock, RTG or Playtech casinos...

I get called from Fortune lounge although I cant understand why they would call me to promote their whopping 10% bonus, what a joke it basically puts a 15x WR on my own money.

They normally offer me a 50% bonus but they can do that in an email which they do as well. Why they call to see if I received their email is beyond me. :what:

I play at several Fortune Lounge and have never gotten a call (except the first time I tried to use a credit card and it wouldn't go through.) The Gaming Club is where I signed up and that's when the calls started.

I also put my mobile phone as my home number, that way I am the only one to answer it. My wife knows I play, but I don't want anyone but family and friends calling my house.

I will say this on their behalf (Fortune Lounge) that is. They have called for both me and my husband but if you ask to take a message, they won't leave one, they just say they will call back.

I am really not sure why a casino even needs your phone number at all. Especially your work phone number ? Can you imagine your boss telling you that you have a call from your online casino manager in another country. Yikes !

tell your husband that you have recently become bi-curious, and that you have met a girl through an adult contact mag and that you and her are up for a threesome.

Yeah, I'm sure that will work wonders, lol. All kidding aside though GOCC, I can totally understand where you are coming from. I don't hide my gambling, but I still feel that my business is my own when it comes to casinos, and I do not want any of them calling me at home. My regular casinos have a HUGE note on my file to never call me at home unless I request it, this after they called once at 3 a.m.
