Slotster vs Simmo! - The Progressive Challenge!

My favorite game is not micro, but RTG...
RTG is boring... All the slots spin the same, sound the same, pay out the same (usually not much)... All they change is the graphics. Only slot I like there is Super Diamond Mine, but it takes forever to get 100 diamonds for the bonus round, and the first mine you enter almost always caves in on you.

re

I have done well ont he diamond mine game at times.

I just tried for that big micro gaming jack pot,...not luck.

I put in 40 bucks, most I hot was three sevens about 4 times for 20 bucks each. Someone is going to be very happy when they hit that.

I used to play microgaming, but I got tired of sending and resending documents. They would ask for them, then a couple months later want them again. To much of a hassle. Though I did try my luck today at that tuzanami one.

$3 a spin is too much for you KK??? HUH?
Don't start that again. You know darned well I'm a low-roller.
So far this year I've low-rolled myself to nearly $5,000 profit from online casinos - how much profit have you made?

King Kashalot is at $353K+, and only $2.25 a spin. :p

yeah but the chance of hitting it is probably 5million to 1. It was at > $1million a couple of weeks ago.

This is probably the worst slot you could play right now.

Doesn't matter the monetary amount, it's the value of the jackpot relative to the chance of hitting it. In the case of KK, that's clearly very small.

Was able to do a little over 12,000 spins on Tunzamunni for $150. Was actually up $70 at one point. Best hit was for $50 other then that no jackpot.

excellent !
i'm still there - still playing on my initial $100 deposit from friday - slots have been good to me this weekend - i just dedicated it all to playback.

 Thing is, i do 1 or 2 thousand spins then i have to go play something else to relieve the boredom - lol. Its sporadic :) Not hitting anything of note (so far) today tho.

yup - i do the same - played thunderstruck some - and had quite a streak on crazy chamelons golden goose - totem golden goose did pretty good too.
I tried to play some slots that I don't usually play just to see if bella vegas had their go gramma button mashed.

I sure wish i'd found this forum when I first started with the online casinos - I wrote to BelleRock when they started their multiplayer system. It was a move in the right direction - but I didn't think the slots were fun there at all. I think a sense of connection and community is good. I mean look at pogo.com. People are on there playing like mad to get 'badges' which are just little pictures that they get to put in their profiles. They have a good chat system and lots of loyalty. I haven't checked riverbelle multiplayer lately - but even though they had a chat window - no one was saying anything in it while I was there.

Multiplayer

I agree about those multi-players. I haven't been back to them. It was cute for about 15 minutes. Not enough variety to draw a big crowd I don't think. Maybe they'll make it better.

Good luck progressive pounders!

Nice!

I lost $100 on 800 spins on Tunzamuni!
Man do I hate that one! A boring money pit!

I was able to get 23,000 spins off Tunzamunni on $250 bucks. Still enjoy Thunderstruck the best. I do kind of like that payout of over 100k for a .25 bet! But the odds must be in the 100 millions to hit it?

Hey guys

32Red stepped forward on Friday and offerred a $500 prize for me or Slotster for the best screenie. I had a long chat with Ed and put forward an extension to the idea so everyone could get involved and if successful turn it into an on-going monthly comp.

A bit tricky bearing in mind once money is involved it can all get a bit complicated, but Ed and Pat had a word with Microgaming about my ideas and they've given the thumbs up. Also, as i want to keep this primarily a fun thing, i've put together some basic rules and i'll put up some info up tomorrow then its up to anyone if they want to join us on the same basis me and Slotster are playing.

In essence it boils down to this (but i'll make it clearer tomorrow so hold back on the questions for now):

1) Slotster and I nominate 2 Progressives each month
2) All players send me their 32Red player number
3) We all hit the nominated slots
4) If the Jackpot is won, the winner keeps 70% and all the others share 30% (based on one share per # spins which i'll set tomorrow - to keep it fair and make sure everyone who entered is trying - lol!)
5) 32Red will at the end of each month provide me with the number of spins each player made on each of the slots
6) They have also agreed to handle all the payouts (thanks PatH!) - this is where it all got complicated and MG got involved 'cos we dont want people going all Noddy on the 70/30 thing. Oh yes you did, Ohhhh no i didnt...behind you!
7) There will be two prizes of $250 per nominated slot for the best screenshots, or if tied, he/she who hit it more than once.

Thats the basics - just gotta play with some figures now. I want everyone, low-rollers and high-rollers all, to be able to play if they want to so i'll make the spin numbers reasonable and probably have a low value progressive and a higher value progressive in each comp.

Should be fun :) If anyone has any ideas about how to keep this friendly and fun rather than attracting the less scrupulous bargain hunter, feel free to shout in this thread. I'm thinking keep it to regular 'Meister posters to start with - what do you think?

I also want to keep it as simple as possible, but there has to be certain ground rules i guess to save the hassle when we hit the Big One (which we will!).

Cheers

Simmo!

Naturally I think it should be Meister Members only - less players = bigger shares for us when you hit that big one! :D

Just wondering about the best screenshot competition: Will this just be highest amount won - or the worst (closest) near-miss - or maybe just the prettiest shot? ;) And who will judge which is the winner?

I think probably the highest amount won to avoid disputes, but based on "coins" rather than actual value so low-rollers stand as much chance as do those playing say Tunza rather than Cashalot. And where there's more than one winner, the person who posted the same win more than once takes precedence, and if theres more than one of those, the person of those who posted multiple wins who went on to make the most spins on that slot during the comp. Provides two backup plans that way!

And me and Slotster will be the judges on any dispute :)
