Try to keep image sizes to 640x480 or smaller, any larger seriously distorts the proportions of the forum.

Sorry mate, i know there is an attach image feature that shrinks it but i could not find it, care to give me a heads up ? :)

I've just finished writing it all up - getting 32Red to give it the once over and then i'll get it going - hopefully later today :)
What's the latest on your competition?

The above was several days ago - but no confirmation that's it's going ahead...

Looks like someone won tunzamunni early morning my time (1 am)
Here's hoping it was one of us!

Yeah it had gone by the time i got to my PC :(

KK: I haven't had the nod from Ed & Pat just yet. Hoping Monday. The webpage is up and ready to go :)

Anyway...another ok hit on Major Millions - fast turning into my fave Progressive:

Hi everyone,

OK I have the OK from everyone to go ahead with this the way I want. Ed & Pat at 32Red, Microgaming and the Meister et al :) Thanks guys.

I have written it all up here: Link Removed ( Old/Invalid)

If you are interested in joining me and Slotster, have a read (especially the rules page!). Note that for the time being, regular Meister posters only while we find our feet on this one and make sure it's all working fairly.

If it all goes well and proves fun and popular, I have the OK to do a new one every month. Me and Slotster will pick the targets ;) For now its Fruit Fiesta (still above average) and Tunza (also still above average despite the big win!)

Cheers,

Simmo!

2,000 spins! Eeeek!
Might be a bit steep for me - but we'll see.... ;)

The rules seem to suggest there might be a time period after the jackpot is hit when spins still count towards the challenge. Is this correct? And if so, how long is that time period?

Hi KK

Dont worry - you'll do 2,000 spins on Tunza for a $100 without too much hassle normally. It runs about 10x wagering from what i make out so $100 = 400 spins @ 10x = 4,000 - you'll probably prove me wrong now ;)

I think once a Jackpot screenshot is posted for all to see, thats the cutoff give or take an hour maybe just so people close to another 2,000 spins have a few minutes to push the threshold, but don't have long enough to abuse it :)

Incidentally you'll notice its all a little-biased in favour of low-rollers. FF and Tunza aren't miles apart in denomination so i din't get too fancy on spins per slot. In future, if i pick something like Tunza and Major Millions where there is quite a difference, i may adjust the spins required a bit to balance it. We'll see. My take at the mo (I'm playing FF) is that I'm happy to go for a higher Jackpot and those playing Tunza can benefit just as much as me even though i'm playing 75p rather than 25p. Its my choice after all - i just prefer that slot to Tunza :)

Oh yes: Note to all: This Challenge is generally about playing for enjoyment rather than for money. Sure, it'll be nice to share in a Jackpot or win some $$, but the primary motivation here is for fun, community and kudos! Please bear that in mind ;)

Damn this was close to the 2nd higest pay :( But on the plus side, its 10c better than 4 scatters in the $250 comp ;)

Doubt I count as a regular yet but have applied to join in anyway

I see a small problem that is not explained in the rules or at least I didnt see it

Everything is in USD what about those that play in GBP or that strange new european money is there some sort of equation in place to even things up

Good point. I'll give it some thought...Slotster had mentioned this and we decided not to bother initially but it makes sense to do equivalent currency conversions. I'll come back on that....

Damn! I peaked too early with my 5 scatters then! :(
Mind you - that wasn't at 32Red either... :( :(

I know it's for fun - but people will try to get extra spins in after the pot is hit if it's allowed in the rules. I know I will! :D
It's human nature (especially gambling humans!). I think you will be forced to say no spins count from the moment the jackpot winning screenshot is posted. That would be 100% fair on everyone.

I can't see how the currency thing comes into it - the best screenie will be that which wins the most credits - it doesn't matter what those credits are worth. (eg. 5 scatters = the same credit win whether in $ or )
The only (small) problem will be sharing out the 30% which will have to be converted into the currency of each player's 32Red account. Not a big issue - probably best for you to set the exchange rate at the beginning of each month - or just let 32Red decide based on their rates.
[edit]: Just realised Vambo might mean players using are risking more dosh in 2,000 spins than those in $. May have to apply an exchange rate to the number of spins too! :eek2:

Hi Everyone,

I know I don't have a high post count and thus not really a "regular",but I do lurk just about every day.

Thanks to Simmo for allowing me in!

I usually play the bonus feature slots,BJ,and VP,but now I will dedicate most of my play to the challenge.

P.S. I have a nice Spring Break screenshot I'll post in the winner screenshots thread when I find some more time. $45/spin..bonus round..hit something nice.

In October's challenge so far:

Slotster
Simmo!
Gramma
Vambo
Kelvinlym
w2album
n1stunnor

All names added to the "News & Hints" tab on the website for each comp. If you're on it, you're in it :)

$100 might not be much to you - but it's a lot to a low-roller like me!
(I only get a $32 monthly bonus to help me, not $132 like you!)

Anyway, did some practice at another casino & managed 525 spins and gained $19 thanks to hitting three mixed colour 7's three times (in the wrong order, of course:( ), so maybe it not as bad as I feared - so I've signed up!

Too slow to catch the first 2 which were 3 different colours, but caught the 3rd one...
