Starburst

Yeye...I know I said that my Jack and the Beanstalk-thread should be the last NetEnt game preview this year. But...well, I just found out about this game. And I always get excited when I see new Net Entertainment games so just wanted to share some screenshots.

It is called Starburst and it is described as a high paced energizing slot.

(will be released in January)

Nordicbet is an awesome casino reviewed by us at Casinomeister!
Personally i think it looks nice.

Yes, it looks nice. I like fast, easy slots without lame bonus rounds so this is probably my kind of game.

Here is a youtube video of the gameplay (some nice hits from 2.20):

The count up of each win already ticked me of... doesn't seem to be a fast slot at all, and I would hate to win 1000 bucks if it'll count up at the same pace
It's a little bit like "Starstruck" from 3Dice, with the damn movieclips after each win...love everything about the slot, but I don't wanna sit and wait for anything, or I'll quickly move on.
Developers should seriously consider an option to turn shat like that off

LaHutti :)

The count up of each win is something you can quickly skip by pressing the "spacebar" on your keyboard or by one mouse click. Players can of course choose whether they would like to see it or not. This is standard with most providers. But this is a video preview made by Net Entertainment so it would be a bit strange if they skipped all and everything and just played away as fast as possible.

As for animations. Players will in this game (and most of the other newer NetEnt games) have the opportunity to for example turn of animations, use quick spin etc.

Any idea what date this month this slot will be released?

Yes, I asked Nordicbet about it earlier this week, but forgot to update the thread. Thanks for reminding me about it.

They told me that the official release is the 23rd (next Monday).

It will be interesting to see what players think about this one. It looks a bit simple compared to for example Frankenstein, Gonzo`s Quest and Jack and the Beanstalk. But as I have mentioned, I think it seems pretty good and I will not be surprised if this will do quite well. Looking forward to trying it out.

No problem :) and thank you for the info! I'm really looking forward to trying it myself as well. I think sometimes simple is best. The best video slots out there I think are the simple ones.

So are these games at Netent or Nordicbet? I would be interested in checking them out :)

Will be released across all NetEnt casinos, but Nordicbet are usually the 1st to have the new games, the others seem to take a week or more to get them up. 1 casino I know of has just put up Jack and The Beanstalk which has been out quite a while now :what:

I'd guess it's cheaper for casinos to buy those games later on instead of the actual release date.

As mattsgame said, this game is released across Net Entertainment based casinos. But this does not mean that every Net Entertainment based casino will have it. But I will often use Nordicbet as a reference when talking about Net Entertainment since I regard them as the best Net Entertainment based casino out there. Few Net Entertainment based casinos are also accredited on Casinomeister, so I prefer to focus on one of them rather than casinos who are not very forum friendly (for example Betsson, no can do-list). If you want to try Net Entertainment games in fun mode, then you can do it Link Removed ( Old/Invalid) (NetEnt.com) or by visiting casinos. As for Nordicbet, they target players from New Zealand and Australia so you may want take a look at their site.

I think that operators pay a royalty fee to Net Entertainment based on how much revenues the casino games generate. But some games are more expensive than others. I think that for example Frankenstein is priced separately (higher) because Net Entertainment also need to pay a license fee to Universal (I think )

Is there anywhere to try this slot in demo mode?.

Not yet, as far as I know :)

Available at Betsafe.
Although Starburst made my head burst :D
Not the greatest achievement from NetEnt...

Thanks for all the info as usual rainman :)

If they're targeting Aussie players, they're missing the mark by a mile.

I've had one bonus offer in six months, for 50% with usual WR. I've made a lot of deposits and only one withdrawal. I get 5 or 10 free spins worth $1 sometimes, and they send the text at 1am grrrr. It's woken me a few times and it puts me off.

I'm looking for another netent I can play in USD and that actually gives me some promos. Any suggestions?

BTW that Simsaladbin slot is atrocious. Just awful.

NetEnt is making ground and garnering support. I only wish that ALL their games did not have the same feel to them. I don't play there because I feel bored and it just doesn't feel like MG - Well then again, nothing does... :(

I might be wrong, but I think Cherry Casino is the only NetEnt where you can play in $US...?
(Others will accept $ deposits, but then convert to £ or €)
Haven't checked recently, but they used to have a fairly decent monthly offer.

At Unibet, we will also have it on Monday.

I would have suggest Stanjames as a NetEnt to play in USD but I got an email from them today saying to claim my loyalty points because they're launching a new casino. They were good for maybe every other month getting a post wagering bonus and also the only NetEnt casino besides Nordicbet that had a downloadable version. This really sucks that they're putting up a new casino.

I agree with Nifty.
I wandered over to Nordicbet mainly because I saw all of Rainmakers posts and the games looked fun.
I have never felt so ignored by a casino ever. I have made a fair few deposits and not withdrawn and have never taken a bonus.
I get no offers from them other than a stupid 5 free games text at 2 in the morning that expires in a few hours so I miss out because I'm not booting up the computer and logging on to get $1 worth of spins!. I get no emails and no promotions at all! Ridiculous.
I really like the games a lot but kind of feel ignored at Nordicbet.
If I make a few deposits at CW I get an email with a free chip to welcome me back pretty much every month. At 32Red I get Bonus offers all the time(Even though I don't take them, the offer is appreciated)

I just don't get why at Nordicbet I'm totally ignored?

I rarely use bonuses(in fact pretty much never) But it is always nice to have a freeby thrown your way after a lot of deposits have been lost. At CW this happens every month without having to ask. Happens at 3Dice as well. But Nordicbet have never even recieved an offer or an email from them, EVER!!

I would attest to that - Lame Spin offers and no real match offers coming from them at all. They charge me to deposit with my CC
and they do not even offer a few free chips if you are on a bad run. These are some of the reasons I ultimately closed my account with them last year - I received 100 times more value and was honestly spoilt by 32Red - In the end it was really a No Brainer. Unless they up their generosity, I wouldn't even bother reopening my account or spending a part of my monthly gaming budget there.

.

Guys :D

Some general comments about Nordicbet and Net Entertainment regarding recent posts.

First let me just say that I do not recommend casinos based on bonuses. I usually do not see bonuses as an advantage for players. Casinos would not offer bonuses if it was not profitable for them.

I think it is a bit problematic to compare casinos who use different suppliers when we are talking about bonuses, free spins etc. Casinos are operating under different conditions based on for example what kind of a casino supplier they are using. A Real Time Gaming based casino today may have had to change some of their way of doing business if they switched to Net Entertainment tomorrow. A TopGame based casino today would perhaps not have the same opportunity to offer a USD 10 000 welcome bonus tomorrow if they changed to Microgaming.

As for Net Entertainment, I think that many people will agree with that they in recent time probably have been one of the most innovative companies within the industry. It is also worth to mention that Net Entertainment has an integrated high-payout strategy which means that they are offering players pay-out up to about 97%. These are two examples of factors that may affect operators who use Net Entertainment as a supplier. Good things for the player, but it is sometimes easier to only remember free spins.

My experience is that Net Entertainment based casinos in general really do not give out so many bonuses, so I do not think that Nordicbet is so much different than other Net Entertainment based casino. But yes, you will probably find Net Entertainment based casinos out there who offer more bonuses than Nordicbet. I think that Nordicbet has chosen to focus on other things. I have for example mentioned their ongoing Round the World- competition in another thread where they are giving out holiday prices worth about EUR 30 000 each month to their players (and yes, these trips comes without WR :p). Frequent player points in the casino is of course without WR. So I think their thoughts are to give their players real rewards and not only bonuses or rewards that comes with WR. I personally also think it is nice to see that they focus on other things than just “gaming and bonuses”.

Another thing about reputable Net Entertainment based casinos is that you most likely will not find strange bonus restrictions. If you look at the welcome bonus for Nordicbet, then you quickly will see that they have no max bet rule, no restricted games (you can of course play both roulette and progressive games), no max withdrawal or other weird things.

It is important to keep loyal customers happy. This should be in the casinos interest since loyal customers are most profitable. Players need to feel appreciated, specially loosing customers. Most casinos have always room for certain improvements, so if for example Gremmyboy is feeling ignored then maybe Nordicbet has room for improvement when it comes to taking care of loosing customers. I am sure they would be interested in your feedback

It's not actually true that Net Ent based casinos are less generous with bonuses on the whole. In fact it's just generally that those aimed at Scandinavia only give decent bonuses to Scandinavians and ignore their other players far too much.
Nordicbet are definitely one of those casinos - although to be fair to them the clue is in the name.
Betsafe are the same, very good for Swedes and Norwegians - not the same for the rest of us..
You can find some Net Ent casinos that are more generous than MG casinos if you shop around.

The real Challenge here is being unique and offering customers value for their loyalty.

I will be the first to admit - I will deposit $1000 - Play and lose. No issues. If I get recognized and a Free Chip is thrown my way by asking or not asking, I will be back and deposit another $1000.

I am VERY adamant on playing where I am recognized and receive great service and value. I'm not saying Nordicbet are NOT on par with other Casinos, but in my experience, they have not been. I must admit that I received a PM from the Rep Ben and although my post was not a 'Bitch and Moan' he was keen to rectify whatever made me leave the casino to begin with. I respect an individual that has recognized they may have fallen short on providing an expected service and attempts to resolve it. Kudos to Ben and Nordicbet for at the very least - Making an Attempt!

When I feel strongly that I am not appreciated or a Casino does something that is roguish and not acceptable, I would go to the extent of Closing my account and stating a Gambling Problem - This is never the case, as I have been in control of my spending and habits online. It's just to ensure that I do not feel bored and one day give them business when I was so against them the other day and that they NEVER contact me again. ClubWorld is an example of this - I was not happy with their 'Student Issue' so I closed my account also citing a gambling problem - I was NEVER a Big player at CW to begin with. I don't intend playing there in the future. I play at Slotastic on the ODD Occasion if I need a small fix of RTG.

In the end it is about getting the best value for your money. I don't always play with bonuses - Only when I am looking for a nice long session. I will be the FIRST to jump up and applaud someone if he/she does something that exceeded my expectations as a player.
