You guys who like video games probably learned about the Blizzard controversy of the last few days. In a nutshell, their new release of Diablo is a just "reskin" of a mobile Chinese game called Crusaders of lights, which made many fans angry.
Anyway, within that Crusaders game (like many games these days) there are "microtransactions" which is how they make money. The game itself is free but buying in-game stuff is "almost" required if you want to compete.
I thought the following Reddit post would interest you people, if you have a minute take the time to read it...especially the hybrid CM players who like video games and gambling.

I got 2 free lego games, lord of the rings etc.. from humble last week for my now ancient pc, mad max was £1.99 as well but think my dual core would struggle with that
