Yeah the blocks became a lot more rigid when they went to cash.
You could have pockets full to the brim of tokens and easily convert them to cash or more tokens or a split depending on how you wanted to convert them.
The main bonus being that feature costs were cheap so you could easily collect a few quid here and there and it would soon add up.
Obv in a pub it was different, but in an arcade there were loads of options to choose from.
