Guts gets gutted

Last week Guts announced they were pulling their sportsbook from the UK market.

They've just emailed to advise Guts itself is closing completely.

Last week Guts announced they were pulling their sportsbook from the UK market.

They've just emailed to advise Guts itself is closing completely.

It's only UK from my understanding. Just spoke to a rep.

This seems to be inline with their exit strategy from the UK markets and only keeping Rizk available there.

Yeah had the emails last couple of weeks.

No loss to me. Never deposited with them since they could not answer simple question on why all details seemed to vanish when they changed platforms.

I suspected they may mean UK only, but the email doesn’t say that in this instance. It did for the sports book though.

They were good when they first started. Past few years they got really tight with freebies and bonuses etc. So haven't played there in years

Just got an email from Kaboo Casino also leaving the U.K market. Unless I want to play on shit sites with slow payouts and shitty terms etc. I'm down now to about 6 sites I can trust, when just a few months back I had about 25. Sad times

Isn't this exactly what Betsson announced already while ago that only Rizk gonna remain in UK and rest leave? Guess it's not making that much sense for them to keep all brands there, UK regulations also are bit more challenging than MGA so having multiple brands (and in their case in multiple platforms) make it harder to make sure you comply with everything and also monitoring players is way easier when they only can have that one account with you instead of few on multiple platforms. Rizk have sportsbook and slots, pretty much all they wanna offer to in UK.

Guts were a great casino at the start, but feel off a cliff a while ago.

Was one of the casino's that hit me with an impossible SOW/KYC check after a big win.

After a month of sending doc after doc, i gave up and said i have nothing left to send. Stalemate.

6 weeks later, money appeared in my bank and account closed.

Shame as they were good before.

Cheers - I thought it odd that you didn't mention the UK in the email. You may have a bit of an own-goal in not making that clear

I suppose there is an argument that having multiple white labels which don't do much different to their stablemates is rather pointless, especially if they're in common ownership. We've seen that with Elektraworks drastically reducing their portfolios and migrating the users to the biggest brands.

Both Guts and Rizk are similar sites aimed at similar markets. Guts has arguably been left to wither on the vine for quite a while now.
