this group is just a no no.i joined there casinos . fullfilled there wagering requirements for all bonuses as stated on website. won on a few sites and lost as well.today i joined vegas towers. deposited and lost all my deposit. so decided to claim there signup bonus after loosing my deposit. wow! wat i see is that i have been banned for getting any promotional bonus.just because i won on a few sites , but lost on most of there casinos. i guess it would be nicer that they send me a corteous email, that i cant get any of there bonus in future, so that way i must avoid this group. but they decided to make a decision and damn care to tell the player. ROGUEDDDDDDDD

There must be something else here.

I opened accounts at almost all FL casinos. While I won at some and lost on others there never were any problems on bonuses which were promptly credited to my accounts.

BTW, it wouldnt be wrong of them to deny your bonus claim as you mentioned you only did so after loosing(here we go again, Simmo) your deposit so I doubt whether they are using the excuse you mentioned ie banned from promotional bonuses since you won at a few sites. Instead, I tend to believe that you might have tried to take advantage of them by claiming bonuses when you lost giving you a second chance and cashing out without bonuses when you won freeing you of any WRs. At least it looks very much like that way from your post.

This is partly the fault of FL, you are obliged to play your deposit before claiming the bonus, naturally, once playing, many gamblers will finish the session when they feel like it.

As I receive spam with the headlines "Bonus abusers welcome", from Fortune Lounge, they really have no justification for hitting back at players who seek to use "advantage play" - and take up the invites in the mailers.

If they changed the format of these mailers, they would have more sympathy from the regulars when hit by the "whores".

vinylweatherman: As we do not have the exact details of this case, I will wait before I take, even part, responsibility for this issue.

Something just doesn't look right here as this is not our modus operandi when someone wins at our casinos. There has to be a good reason why he did not receive his sign-on bonus that he is not telling us here.

As far as the mails headed "Bonus Abusers welcome" are concerned, I am not aware of us ever using those headlines and would appreciate it if you could mail me an example.

Spam

As I have the "full set" - I just delete these. They are flagged as "spam" by my ISP, but I have had to let them through as your regular mailers also get flagged.

This is an example of the "Fortune Lounge Spam" issue that has been running for some time. The address at the bottom is the same address as comes from proper internal Fortune Lounge mailers.
It is possible this player is being economical with the truth, but if all he did was to "whore" the bonuses to the letter of the T & C (I.e - one account per casino, no chargebacks etc).
My experience is that one bonus can be claimed by an individual at all 9 casinos (Havana Club now closed to new players). The only thing I can think of is that the player played the "free spins" offer and is trying to get another special offer after failing to win with the free spins offer. I have a suspicion that the two cannot both be claimed.

Darn it! Cant you even add? From the post when you said you would PM the FL rep, it's only 26 hours. For Pete's sake, show a little patience before saying something irresponsible. Your words seem to be threats more than anything else.

Nobody spams me like fortune lounge .. you try and "de-register" (I never registered) and it takes half an hour clicking options ... and then it still spews through anyway.

The irony is, I dont think I ever played at any of their casinos. guess i must have registered somewhere where they steal/buy email addresses.

They are a pain and they leave bits in your computer which are a bugger to find and delete..

Not recommended.

I know that I will avoid them like the plague. These are offers that I am told I am ineligible for anyway since I already have an account with them. What is the F'ing point of even making me the offer. It's like opening your presents on christmas morning only to find empty boxes!! Bye Bye FL, you are just another of the many places on the net I will not be doing business with.

It's now saturday A.M. here in Illinois, and what do I find waiting in my inbox???? Another useless promo from FL for free play at their Platinum Play casino!!!! Anyone want to bet whether I can use this one?????!!! FL is so full of shit that I wish someone could do something about this. Bryan, you have contacts, could you please look into this??? We are all sick and tired of it. FL rep, you posted that this is unacceptable the other day and were looking into it, any word yet? Perhaps you have reconsidered and it is now acceptable. If this is the way you run your business, chances are we won't have to worry about your sites much longer. Hear me loud and clear.... YOU CANNOT BUILD AND GROW YOUR BUSINESS BY PISSING OFF YOUR CUSTOMERS AND POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS!!!!!!! GET IT??????

Last Summer

When this came up last summer, we were asked to send examples through to the rep and the casinos, did it make a bit of difference?

"Driftwood Bay" are still up and running just as before, and it seems that FL have concluded that they have nothing to do with them. Oddly enough, FL's OWN internal mailers to current players come from........

"Driftwood Bay"!!!!!

The only difference is that the last two digits of the building number are transposed in the unsubscribe section, the address being there to comply with the "can spam" act, whic makes it "not spam".

As I have never set foot in Belize, I cannot say what these addresses really are, but I would not be surprised to find they are maildrops rather than actual business premises - a trick big business is fond of, just like their "untraceable" phone numbers here in the UK that don't relate to any part of the UK, (and cost 4x as much to call as well!).

Actually all MG casinos and for that matter other casinos (Playtech for example) leave bits & pieces behind after you uninstall their software. These redundant entries are mostly buried in the registry.

I'm of the opinion this is to prevent or @ least control those who claim a free bonus and then think they can uninstall the software and claim again under another persons information. A good way to stops the fore mentioned people installing on the same PC over and over again.

Unless of course they do a complete OS re-install, in that case, they should seek some help for their gambling problem imo.

Redundant program entries are left behind by many software programs. Shareware and BIG companies such as Adobe use this in their trial software too. Hence it's not just unique to Fortune Lounge. Guess they (all other software companies that do this) are crooks too, according to your synopsis.

Sorry if I'm coming over as being a hard #ss, but, this type of post gets under my skin. Reminds me of the blind leading the blind.

PS greedygirl that wasn't a Stevie Wonder joke either :p

well!
your dear fortune lounge rep didnt respond back and bring something more than that.i guess he is just waiting for the thread to vanish.i used to like fl in the past. but now they are just way too much hard to handle. spamming, blocking customers account for no reason, labelling any1 bonus abuser.i am an affiliate of fl as well.but when i crossed $200(the min amount to be paid). they told me there was an error in the stats and reduced my payment to 172 and now i am waiting for it to reach min amount of $200. they are just impossible.

You think they are spammers (and other stuff), but you still promote them?

Good point

It is a very good point.

Even more compelling would be if Nikest opened his accounts off his own aff code. This could very well be where his problems stem from. Is this the case, Nikest?????

In any event, Nikest clearly does not know the meaning of the word patience. Wim WILL look into Nikest's problem and he WILL come back to let EVERYONE know what the trouble is. What Nikest fails to realize is that Wim has a life and does not work on the weekends.

Perhaps rather than looking for any possible angle to trash FL, Nikest could exercise a bit of restraint and wait until Monday when Wim returns???

Point 1 : Where did I say they were crooks because they leave bugs in your computer? Can you qoute me?

Point 2 : Are you seriously saying that because some other companies do it then there is no problem?

Sorry, your post didnt make sense at all.

Perhaps this is where the real beef lies?

Besides, as mentioned here before by greedygirl, as affiliate you are not allowed to play under your own account.
