I'm the same - it just gets cultivated over many tournaments. There are teams that I can't bring myself to like, either through conditioning, or pre-held footballing animosity!Been having a little think about WC's gone by and international teams in general.
Conclusion is that it is amazing how our parents (more so fathers) rub off on us and influence future thinking.
No reasons personally for not liking teams such as Argentina, Germany, Uruguay and a few others but having sat and had a little think about it have several memories returning of my Dad saying negative things about these teams and I've without really thinking about it until now carried on this train of thought and feelings towards said teams.
Holland is one such team, partly out of a footballing rivalry, but also from witnessing Rijkard lob a loogie at Voller in Italia '90. It's then one realizes 'these teams are never gonna respect each other!'
Pretty indifferent towards France's recent successes, and pre-2016, found their brand of football just lethargic (Did no one SEE them at France '98? They were legit terrible)
Argentina I don't mind really, nor Italy, Portugal. Those bloody Spanish teams though....
