Hello everyone,

For a long time, I have been the rep for Videoslots here, which is something that has brought me a lot of joy over the years as I have been able to receive the most honest and unfiltered feedback and opinions of the Casino itself along with the work we do. Many good suggestions and fair points of criticism have been shared, and many of the suggestions I have received has been taken to heart and implemented, something that has helped us grow and better ourselves.

Starting today, I’m officially retiring as Casino Rep, but I will hand you all over to my excellent team that has been working under my supervision for quite some time and I think that their combined efforts and attendance will prove to be a great improvement for you all.

I strongly believe that this community has been an invaluable asset to us and I have enjoyed my time here immensely.

Quite right!

I was thinking of having a whip-round, while all the artisans on CM can erect a statue in his honour!

I'd use the recent Jeff Goldblum one in London as reference

I know we have had our differences in the past but putting that aside I wish you all the best for the future, whatever that brings. I am sure you will be missed by almost everyone on this forum, no-one can not appreciate your timely responses, your dedication and commitment at all hours - I doubt there will be many people who can replicate your high standards.

Good luck and welcome to the new team - I hope you have your battle gear at the ready ;)
 
Sad to see you going Dan but on the other hand i am glad.

You were here just about 24/7 every day including christmas and always went out of your way to answer and help. Glad you might have more spare time for yourself and your family now.

All good things come to an end and although i am sure your team will do well they won't be you tho.

But bet you are glad yourself that you no longer have to deal with some of the impatient members and a full Inbox of PM'S daily. Hope you still visit the forum and all the best. And enjoy your weekends now if you can get away from work:thumbsup:

Can only say its sad day for us here at CM but on other hand can only give a big thank you for all your hard work and the crazy amount of hours almost 24/7 you have put in.

I can only imagine, that it must have been really hard to deal with so many issues sometimes, and you prob have 100s of PM dailys to deal with.

Fully understand your decision and of course you have all you high priorities within VS to deal with as well next to this. I did myself wonder many times, how you could find time for this as well hehe.

Hope you at least now get bit more free time you deserve Dan and big thanks again and hope one day i get a chance to have a beer with you :)
 
I made something with you in mind yesterday but did not post it already. Except the cm watermark gets's in the way a bit,lol. I knew something was up as you have not been the same the last little bit. I have some ideas what it is as I have a feeling it's the same I have been through or am going through. I agree with others it's not going to be the same and if it's 4 people now to take your spot I think it will be worse but will see, Not slagging off the incoming but it usually how it goes.

i think i do not only speak for myself when i say you have been one of the if not the best rep around. Always quick to respond, probably never slept.. :P
While it's sad to see you go, i wish you the best of luck and success in your future ventures. :)

I had read it as Dan was just stepping down as Rep never realized he was leaving VS totally.

Thanks for being the rep on here for so long Dan, we have had our differences but you know I respect you and how hard you work. You've probably done more on here that some casino's full customer service department have done in the same time!

According to team Videoslots's post in another thread, Dan has left the company.

Let me take a wild stab. That is that we will see Dan reappear with Sunbets casino or something related to them. Sunbets appear to have lost their game service provider and may well be back soon with a different provider

I have said many times to you how professional and dedicated you are and how much I have appreciated all your support.

Having a VS Representative here made a huge difference and not having that anymore will not be the same in my opinion but lets wait and see.

Sending PMs to Dan was to get answers and support that we didn't get in the online chat in the website and the outstanding customer service provided by Dan made my experience memorable! Please, VS, keep the high standard to us here in CM.

I can honestly say that Dan has done a bang up job over the past few years - he was one of the hardest working casino managers that I have come across in the past two decades of running this site. That says a lot. Answering questions in the forum on holidays and sometimes at 2 am his time, he was truly dedicated - and most importantly - extremely helpful assisting our members and being the brand manager. He didn't BS people and he got the job done. And a lot of people would not be aware of Videoslots if it wasn't for him and his presence here.

He was awarded two years in a row Best Casino Manager - and also Best Casino rep 2017. He has the beer mugs to prove it. :D
