CS is guff
Since they shut Crockfords CS has gone downhill

I played crocks regularly without any probs then they close
Acropolis is the only choice for the group
I make a withdrawal and 11 days after it being aproved it is not in my bank acc(Crockfords 4 days max)
I only asked them about it last night but it has taken them 18 hours to reply and they ask what is my question
Are they turning into another bunch of playtech schisters

Coments most welcome on what I thought was one of the few most trustable groups

You know, as much as I love playing different softwares...for the last year I have stuck almost exclusively to Microgaming. The reason being that if I do get lucky and cashout, I want my money within 24-48 hours, not one week, or two or three, etc. The only exceptions I have made is Sci Fi Casino (RTG) when their last new games came out. I have played there, cashed out and been paid in less than 24 hours. And Micros, Jackpot Factory and my regular group of Bella, CGB etc 24 hours usually. I love 32 Red, and could have cashed out so many times, one day I will just to test how fast they are.

Your question though Vambo - don't all Playtechs generally take a minimum of a week or more to pay these days? I'm just going by what I read on here, and from talking to various online friends, etc. Certainly not acceptable to me, but pretty standard no? Have you tried calling them, or is there a contact #?

This depends on whether its your first cashout at this casino. If its the first time,they generally take about 2 weeks to process the cashouts no matter how small they may be. For subsequent cashouts,it takes a standard of 4 days from the day you requested it. No matter how much you rave and rant,they just dont seem to care and they stick to the 2 -week period. Well,that's how the playtech casinos treated me.

I've never understood that, myself... Every time I make a deposit, it takes them all of 10 seconds to debit my Firepay account... Why take a week to put it back?

I only play MG now because of this. Both 32Red and Fortune Lounge group will flush on request, so no tie ups! I feel the same as Bruce. No problem depositing as much money as you want in seconds from Neteller, but let's take a week(or more) to put it back. That is BS.

I'm with you guys 100%, it takes seconds to deposit and weeks to withdraw. Like I said, that is why I play only where they will flush, and I have my money in my hand in no more than 48 hours. Personally, I see no reason why all casinos can't do this, no matter the software.

Acropolis?

Strange comments about Acropolis...I have signed there before 4 months and the CS was great...al least to me.
I cant understand why this could happen...
They have a lot of advantages compared to other playtech casinos (just check the amazing bonus policy explanation page, not to mention that all games count for meeting WR, monthly match bonus etc)
I would be interested to see other comments on Acropolis.

One asking what my question was and one sending it to accounts for investigation
Up untill now CS was great and all emails were signed by Philip Lam but not the last two
I think perhaps he has left or is on holiday and has left a couple of chimps in charge

Something is absolutely messed there now!
Live help has disappeared completely, a PM to their manager never got answered and none of my emails are getting any response.
I am sure I am not the only one out there to experience this.

It is now 2 weeks since my withdrawal was marked as approved in the casino cashier and it has still not found its way to my bank account and I have had no reply to my email
If I dont get paid by monday Ill move this into the complaints section and maybe try pitching a bitch shortly after
I know 2 weeks isnt a great deal of time compared to the time it takes some casinos to payout but stanleys going from falling over themselves to help as much as they could to ignoring you is worrying

BTW

Does anyone know why they shut Crockfords and Stanleys

This is the email I got from them the day I made the withdrawal request and had emailed them to mak sure the funds would be paid into my debit card
This reply was received within 1/2 an hour of me emailing them

The managers probably drank too much Rum on their summercruise through the Carib's and fell asleep under a palmtree somewhere.

I hope the mosquitoes will wake them up soon again.

Definitely disappointing to see this happening at Acropolis. I know there have been some recent changes, so perhaps I will look to see what is going on. But this has been a solid, reputable operation up to now so I'm not surprised that some of you are disappointed.

i dont think you will have to worry about being ripped off, as stanleys (the owners of crockfords) are one of the major players in the UK market.

however stanleys has recently decided to concentrate on it B+M casinos in anticipation of the gambling bill, which will enable them to move into the supercasinos market. as such it has sold of its entire land based betting estate to william hill. the plan was also to sell off its online arm (1 sportsbook and 3 casinos) separatly, however immediatly after the deal with will hill was agreed, they decided to close down their online sportsbook, thus i guess this was something that was thrashed out in the final negotiations with will hill. i'm guessing this is the same story with the crockfords/stanley online casinos aswell.

IIRC any open positions anyone has with their sportsbook are being managed by will hill now, so i guess maybe this is the story with the casino. certainly the experiences recounted in this thread are reminiscent of typical will hill service.

even if stanley still control acropolis, i wouldnt keep any money in here as they have stated publicly that they want to get rid of it as soon as possible, and as already shown with thier sportsbook, they would rather shut something down than get a buyer for it.

Yes, live help dissapeared for some days now. Yet the system worked fine giving me automatically my monthly match bonus.
There must be changes going on. Dont get easily dissapointed, I believe it will all be fixed soon. Perhaps summertime vacations is delaying things. I noticed also that the Acropolis Slots Club has been closed!?

Good news.
After Bryan & Spear knocked on the managers door he sent me an email a couple hours ago and explained that he had not been aware of the PMs he got.
My problem has been resolved by him though, which I do appreciate.

I am still not sure what lead to the bad communication at their Casino lately but hope to see a solution here soon again as well. Obviously it has been causing problems for many players.

Anyone who wants thier withdrawals paid back to thier switch/maestro cards dont play here cos for some reason the new payment processer cant do it
